Remarks :

The college managements is quite good. but only thing which hinders is the heavy amounts of fines and restrictions over certain matters.I believe that they are important for maintaining the quality but too much of them certainly gives a setback sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is provided by the university, DCRUST (Murthal) and is up to date according to me. In fact the college also has some extra subjects like the library periods, seminar, workshop etc apart from the suggested curriculum from university, and they really help me to build my character and strengthen my visions. The course curriculum is very good in comparison to other colleges in vicinity and the additions in it help the students quite well. The curriculum pattern ensures that the studies are research based if followed properly. The research actually helps to help expand my knowledge. The research part is pretty optional and depends on student to student and his/her approach. I think that the curriculum is adequate to meet minimum requirements and more inputs are required from out(students side) to expand the pool of knowledge.

Placement Experience :

The placements for this college are good and students from this college are working for many big time architectural firms currently, and are successful.

College Events :

All festivals are respected and duly celebrated on small scales in the college and students and faculty enjoy like a family. The college hosts a major convention ARCHVENTURE in the months of march. Students fro nearby colleges come and interact and enjoy the events and workshops. The events is of a large scale and of greater importance.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is of Rs 2 lakhs annually which include the tuition fee, hostel fee, and mess fees. There is an increment of 10% annually in the fees and increases. The stationary cost and other supply adds more and not included into this fee structure. Laptop and other costs add up.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I didn't opt for the education loans available but according to my knowledge the procedure is quite simple for scholarships and loans.

Campus Life :

The college has students from all around the country and this forms a good and healthy campus life, which after all is important for the development of a student. Students from down south and from eastern states merge into the environment quite well and enjoy the life here. The gender ratio is roughly 40-60 and a lot of diverse thoughts are available in the college to indulge into. The extracurricular activities are good to indulge into and are motivating.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel fee is included into the fees structure itself. The hostel environment is good and homely, moreover the hostel becomes an family to me. In the times of need all hostelers are together and strong. Hostel facilities are available for both the girls and boys and are compulsory. All facilities are available in the hostel for the use by students. Hostel wardens and attendants are available on the clock. Electricity and wifi is provided to the students for uninterrupted workflow.

Alumni/Alumna :

There is good network of alumnis and seniors which are helpful in the long run. The bonding between me and my seniors is like that between me and my siblings, they teach and help whenever needed. They give an insight about the subject and its fun to be with them. Even after their graduation, we meet quite often and talk and relish the moments. Their contacts always come handy and helpful.

Admission :

I always wanted to pursue a career in architecture and as inspired to do so. After my NATA results, I visited this college along with my parents .We found the campus lively and enriching. I was confused about the college deep down and wanted to wait for other colleges, but my family didn't want me to be far away. When I first visited the college, We met the director, Prof. Anil Kumar Sir, and really found the friendly look in him. An admission form was asked to fill and I submitted my documents regarding my 10th,12th, and my NATA results. I also had to submit my migration certificate along with admission fee.

Faculty :

The faculty is good and appreciates the efforts from students. The senior faculty is very much working in the welfare and upliftment of students and have a clear motive for making students learn. The newer faculty although lacks the great experience but still tries and appreciates the efforts from the students in learning. The faculty is working hard to make students comfortable. Sometimes the faulty becomes nosy regarding the submission deadline but it teaches u to actually become professionals and make us capable for handling the stress.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to be renowned architect so is the reason I choose this course. I wanted to make people dream house and design many things so I am doing. Curriculum is not worthy in my opinion because they are only giving theoretical knowledge to us not any practical knowledge. But we have to do atlast everything in practical field.

Placement Experience:

From 4 -5 semesters students became eligible for campus selection but we have to complete our degree too. I have no idea yet about companies and their profile and how are colleges provide placement and if they even provide or not Actually, after completing our course we have to work under any architect who makes us perfect for our job. It is said that our university provides 80-90 % of placements. My plans after getting my degree are to start my own business and have my own architectural firm
