Remarks :

The environment at my college is very good and friendly. Regarding transportation, my college runs a fleet of College-owned buses in and around the places and villages surrounding the college. Also, there is an ATM with in the campus just 0.5 km away from the hostels so that the students can use it whenever required.

Placement Experience :

GIET Degree College has a separate Training and Placement Cell which is an integral part of the institute. The management of the training cell get in touch with the corporate sector about the availability of skilled candidates that are perfect for organisational role in their company.

Campus Life :

My college arranges many types of seminars, workshops and guest lecture sessions as well for the students in addition to arranging extra-curricular activities. Students here are encouraged to take part in cultural and social events that are arranged throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities :

Both boys and girls opting for hostels are provided separate accommodation, all the rooms are neat and clean in order to ensure 100% hygienic. The hostels also offer space and facilities for the entertainment and fitness of the students.

Admission :

I am doing BBA from GIET and to apply here, I was supposed to have at least 50% marks in my 10+2th. Luckily I scored 90% marks in 12th standard and after giving the entrance exam, I received a call from the college regarding my admission.

My thoughts on my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that which i choose is Human resources. The aspects of that help is to choose the course is the reputation of the lectures and their quality of educational they offer. The course also help me to find the real world experience as it offers internship and apprenticeship as well. But i would like to suggest that the timngs of the college is too harsh and want to be liberal. The conducting of exams is very impressive and their method of examination really helps to test the best potential of students

Entrance Preview:

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) qualification with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent is required for BBA.Students can pass HSC in any discipline from any recognized University.No other Entrance test conducted.But. before the admission candidates have to appear in the personal interview.

Placement Experience:

Our college placement cell gives lots of effort for every student's placement.In my course, placement is 100% sure.In every year, a large number of recruiters visits and most of the students get placements in Banking and Insurance sector and also in the other Industries.Packages also good in Insurance jobs.Every student is satisfied with their job profiles.

Happy Days

Entrance Preview:

I wrote Andhra pradesh engineering set exam called Eamcet, i secured 76 marks out of 150 got 36000 rank at that time. I chosed it because it was in the top college list at that time. And also it was near to by my relatives place. Intially i got seat Sri Devi Engineering womens College Hyderabad and later i changed it to GIET, Rajahmundry.

Placement Experience:

Placements are very good to our college. Many Companies like TCS, Virtusa, Capgemini and so on were hiring at our campus. When coming to our batch TCS hired almost all people from ECE that is 100 out of 120 and overall 120 and Virtusa hired around 30 people from CSE, HCL hired around 100 people and some other companies hired us.
