Remarks :
I think I have all the positive remarks about my college. Yea. Everything can be improved in one or the other way but I will always cherish for what I had. And will always suggest my upcoming college students to preserve those values.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good. Semester wise examination. Total 8 semester. And a total of 4 year course. It is under Gujarat Technological University and AICTE affiliated. Also you need to study more than 45 subjects. To which the course and syllabus is nicely designed.
Placement Experience :
Placement were bit low in Electronics and Communication but placement rate was very high in all other departments. Moreover they provide good companies for a career start. As well as they help us in interview preparation.
College Events :
Starting with Freshers party. We were celebrating DAYS. Major non technical events including singing dancing. Technical festival called TECHTONIC. We were celebrating Sports week in which almost all the sports were played. Annual Day was also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As it is a Government College fees is feasible. Just 1500 per year. For General category we had to pay 1500 as college fees and 700 exam fees per semester per year. Moreover all other categories were getting 8000 rupees stipend from government for studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I haven't availed any scholarship. But there were scholarship available of other category students. They were getting stipend of around 8000 rupees per year according to that. You can register for stipend from the Administration department.
Campus Life :
Technical Laboratory were good. All the equipment were good and enough. Many books are available at the library. We were having practical in laboratory for 5 days a week. We used to play sports in evening. Amphitheater is under construction.
Hostel Facilities :
I hadn't opted for hostel. My friends opted for it and it was very reasonable cost. Also the mess and canteen food was good. Also some tiffin services were available at reasonable rates and of good quality.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes. Seniors guided us a lot during the whole journey. They spoke the truth and taught us to live the college life by studying as well as doing extra curricular activities. This is the best lot of seniors we could get.
Admission :
JEE and 12 boards merit. During our days we had 40 percentage weightage of JEE score and 60 percentage weightage of 12 Boards results. The summation of which will decide your merit. So i got a good merit to be placed in such a prestigious college.
Faculty :
The faculties of our college were very helpful. In theory classes as well as in practicals. Also they gave good career guidance. Always helpful during viva preparation or external examination preparation.
