Remarks :
Full positive and very little negatives are there but can be covered by all the positives. The college has a structure and looks which on seeing everyone likes it. It's a 40 acres campus and there's a canteen too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was a very nice curriculum, encouraging us, the students, every semester to do an additional audit course so that we can learn other extra topics and subjects. Also we have some electives like core and open electives, so that we can chose what we can study. Question paper is prepared using random question generating program in computer and hence it was a very good structure.
Placement Experience :
Regarding placemets, there's a separate department called training and placement(t&p) cell which provides us with all the training and helps in placement of different companies. They are very friendly and come forward and helps us in understanding the companies in a deep way. Also they are strict in every aspect and stick to rules in allowing the students only who are eligible. There is no such internship in our college. But it consists of one of the Siemens' labaratories. Some of the polytechnic students come for industrial visits at times.
College Events :
Every year on march3rd remembering our birth anniversary of our college founder, we celebrate annual day. Along with that each and every department has its own department day on the other days. Also the college has a tradition of celebrating fest for every four years. Some of the blood donations camps are also conducted on some important days. Every Saturday, we don't have any classwork, the total day is dedicated to extra curricular activities. And the winners of those activities are gifted on department and annual days. Also for paidithalli ammavari festival( a local festival in vizianagaram), we students participate in technical expos and cultural events.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Compared to any other colleges around it is feasible and less. The total tuition fee is 82,500 for 2016 joinings and it upgrades to a maximum of 90,000 maybe for the present 2019 joining students. We have building fund and everything of 7,850 and sem exam feel of 1,250. For the students having attendance less than 75, condonation of Rs. 2000 is charged.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For all the students, got rank below 10000 in eamcet, a full tuition fee waiver is provided. For the students who are eligible for scholarship are provided with a scholarship of almost 35,000.I was a bailed with the full fee waiver for getting below 10000 rank in eamcet
Campus Life :
Every Saturday, there are no classes and the full day is provided for extra curricular activities. For sports there is a room full of sport elements and there are 2 PTs for sports. There is a cricket ground maintained regularly. There is a basketball court, a volleyball court and atleast one badminton court for each block. Labs are regularly checked and done. Some of the instruments are old but are regularly checked and corrected or repaired.
Alumni/Alumna :
There is a organization called FYFP (From the Youth For the People) which was formed a long back by one of the alumni and it was still going on. It was about recycling our old books and records and making money and books out of it which are used for books and goods of the students studying in government schools around. We distribute them every year. And our alumni are invited even for our annual days and they interact with us sometimes.
Admission :
I got admitted to my college through EAMCET and got a free seat there because of the good rank I got in AP-EAMCET. Process is same as any other college, simply by provinding the Tc of before college, marks list and other certificates.
Faculty :
Our faculty in my view are very dignified and supportive all the times. Most of them are having their PHD's in their respective fields and are helpful in our tough times. Also they guide us through our projects and are very friendly in interacting with us.
