Remarks :
Nirmalagiri is a great academic platform for the students.The educational and infrastructural facilities of the college can nurture the talent of the students.Fee structure is feasible to all type of students.Students from far away places can utilize the hostel facilities.The placement cell and job oppurtunities are to be increased.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is based on Choice Based Continuous Semester System(CBCSS). Bachelors degree programme has 6 semester which can be completed in 3 continuos academic year.Semester exams will be held on end of the semester.Internal assessment is also an important factor for the final marks.Since the college is affiliated to Kannur University,seperate marklists will be provided after the decleration of the exam results.The final grade contains both the grades and marks obtained by students.
Placement Experience :
College doesn't provide any internships.Placement guidance is provided by faculties.Entrance oriented coachings are also taken.Campus recruitments by various companies including banks are also held annually.
College Events :
College has a union selected based on election.Various programmes are celebrated namely Onam celbration,Union day,Fine arts festival,Sports day,College day,etc under their guidance.Well functioning NSS also conducts and celebrate different programmes like Teachers day,Anti-tobacco day,etc.Freedom day and republic day parade are done by NCC cadets of the college.Various awareness programmes are conducted by the cadets.Almost all the national festivals are being celebrated in the campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is very much feasible.Economically backward students are provided with E-grantz and other scholarships.Student aid fund is also given by the PTA association to bright students with low annual income.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships offered by central and state Governments are given timely to the students.Various endowments are provided by the College Management,PTA,College Union, etc.Economically weaker students are given financial support by the College Management and PTA.Students tops in semester results are given with cash awards and certificates.
Campus Life :
The labs are equipped with various equipments and is in good condition.Chemicals and other items needed in the laboratories are maintained.College has a Physical Education Department which improves extracuricular activities of the students.Sports day is celebrated with annual athletic meet and games.Hockey,Athletics,Gymnastics, etc are also nurtured.Studennts are also guided for their participation in University Finearts.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are provided.Boys have a Jawahar hostel near to the campus.4 girls hostels are also there.The infrastructural facilities are good.Good quality food are provided to the students.Hostels are with Reading rooms and sports room.Students can avail the help of warden anytime.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network is strong and helpful.The students pass out from college can join the ALUMNI Association.They conducts various programmes in the college like ALUMNI meet.It can be helpful to the students as the network contains quality experts in different field studied in the college.Students can interact with renowned alumnis through this network.
Admission :
The admission is purely based on merit.Students with more marks in the higher secondary exam will get the seats.I got the admission by applying through single window system of Kannur University.College offers various Bachelors and Post Graduate courses in Arts and Science.
Faculty :
The faculties are well qualified.Most of them are continuos researchers in their fields.They are supportive as well.Faculties also hold good relationship with the students and are able to guide them in various fields.The student-teachers ratio is well maintained in the college.
