Our college is excellent and has a good management system.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The courses at the college are outstanding and trending. The courses such as microbiology, electronics, computer science, chemistry are outstanding. The semester system has one exam conducted by the University and two internal exams conducted by the college.

Placement Experience :

The college offers placement. But placement is done by a few faculty Being a student of computer science I can say that our faculty provide placement in a company like Wipro, TCS, etc. Department of chemistry, electronics, physics too offers placements.

College Events :

The college conduct events such as Freshers party, teachers day, Basanta Utsav, Vidyasagar Jayanti, winter program, sports week, Rabindra Jayanti, Republic day, Independence day, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and various exhibitions. I fresher's party at the college was awesome.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees of the college is based on the courses .The maximum college fees may go up to 7000,which is mostly for microbiology. The fees for computer science is 5000 in a semester. The college declares its semester fees on its official website. Most important thing is that the total fees is divided into two-part. One fee is paid for the first three month and the other for the next three month i.e total of 5000 is divided into two parts for first it is 3500and for the other is 1500.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, the college has scholarship program for meritorious students. The college has girls and boys hostel. But the boy's hostel is for OBC students.

Campus Life :

The campus life is awesome .The campus has beautiful surroundings and scenery. Our college has football, and a big ground for games. The college has gym, yoga, table tennis and many more facilities. The college life is really awesome here. I hope so you too enjoy it.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, the senior are very good and helpful. They help and stand by us anytime and provide us notes and many more things which are necessary.

Admission :

The college admission is fully based on merit. The minimum qualification for admission is 60%. The college admission declares minimum qualification marks or percentage and also seats in respective courses. The mode of admission is fully based on online mode

Faculty :

We can assess the faculty of the college by its beacon teachers and their wonderful qualification. The teachers are PhD holders from reputed institutions like ISI etc. The teachers of electronic, microbiology, computer science are invited to foreign lectures and has published many articles.

I selected this course because I am naturally interested in computer science and moreover computer science is a very good course . The curriculum is very holistic and covers all necessary topics . The course could more practical than theory is based this would be my suggestion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My teachers suggest me to take Chemistry honours. And I also wanted to become a scientist from my childhood. I also love to do experiment. So I choose this cource. I heard that here teachers are very good. So I joined this institute. The curriculum prepares me very good to step in real world. There are no such advice to improve, all is previously improved. There are total 6 semesters in our cource. Per year 4 exams are held, 2 mid-sem exams and 2 end-sem exams i.e. all year 4exams are held. The exams are too tough and few common questions we can find.

I have choosen this course because I was interested in it. Nd the faculties of this department is also good. All the professors of our department are PhD qualified and also researching on some field now also. They are quite frankly and helpful also. Total strength of the class is 43 from which most of them are from different states.

This is the Alipore Campus of Calcutta University of Home Science Department. This place is so beautiful in the middle of the city. The campus is full of greenery and the natural beauty of the campus is awesome. The friends,the professors, the scholars are too good to us. Every seniors are so helpful. Remarks:

The college provides a student-friendly atmosphere. The college library is worth mentioning. The entire college premise consists of three buildings and they are separated by roads. This is quite disturbing since it takes time to attend general classes after attending honors class in a separate building.
