Remarks :

One of the best medical colleges in India. Rather than teaching , we are good in sports and other talents. It provides enough stuff for every student to be a achiever.Not only in studies but also in other activities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

B.optom is a (3+1) yr course. One yr internship is mandatory. It has 6 semesters. After the course completion campus interviews are held at the university. As my college is a deemed university and leading medical university in India ,the course certificate has higher values

Placement Experience :

After the intership, many companies like Specsavers, specsmakers, lenskart and various hospitals are offering job to the Freshers. To got job within the university we should get PG degree. There is huge vacancies for the post of optometrist

College Events :

Every year culturals will be held at the college at the September month for one week.they conduct Various sports events , indoor and outdoor games ,and various events etc,. For special days like diwali, christmas,pongal they conduct events at university level.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees are little expensive. But the teaching quality and instrument available for practice are adequate and better than other universities.for B.optom the fees structure is 1.5L for one yr.and semester exam fees are separate.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Education loans are provided for all students who have necessity. For economically backwards university provides scholarship in which they won't get fees for them. Students getting higher marks are provided with cast awards.

Campus Life :

There is a world class football ground in my university and CSS centre which gives training to sportsmans. Many national and international players are get trained in the CSS centre.There are separate grounds for cricket,football, basketball etc,.

Alumni/Alumna :

If we have any doubts in the curriculum or any other sports., we seek help from the seniors.as they have experience they are so much helpful for our studies. every year alumni meeting is held and they share their experiences.

Admission :

Applied the application for the college, filled the mandatory details attached the schooling mark certificates ,wrote entrance examination,got selected and asked to come for counseling.finally got my seat.

Faculty :

Faculties are well trained. They all have doctorate degrees.And some of them are doctors. Faculties are well experienced.Their teaching is easy way and practical sesssions are conducted adequately to enchance the students.

About placement they are showing a good percentage and you are eligible for placement when you enter the internship year which is the final year. Now, I'm doing internship this is the 9th month of my internship period To date i have given 4 interviews which is from University placement offers and im selected in 1 more im waiting to attend the packages we have got highest is 5LPA and the average is 3.5LPA. so after getting degree we hope will be placed by campus with good package

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because its have a good job opportunity in the medical field. The curriculum was prepared like an academic study and more focused on the practical area. No need to improve the curriculum in the course they only teach what we need to apply in the field of this course. Cardiac perfusion at NICHE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum includes 6semesters with every 5 subjects in each semester. 1year provides basic anatomy physiology subjects and 2nd year onwards going to the core of the subject. The course includes both theory and practical classes. A practical session is done in NIMS medication in the operation theatre. The faculty is very friendly and teaches in a very friendly manner. 10:40 student-faculty ratio is there. Many of the faculties there are taken doctorate in their subject or they are professional doctors. Semester exams are done every 6months. The examination includes both practical exams and theory exams. A practical exam is done in NIMS mendicity operation theatre. Exams are mandatory.
