Remarks :

Positive feedback about college is infrastructure and campus is really huge. Means you can feel it that yes you are in new place. And negative feed back is college do not conducts so much recruitment process whic is the important factor for college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electronic and Telecommunications is really a great course in Sinhgad college. Particularly the depth of the course which gives knowledge about combination of 2 branches. Electronics and communication. Because of that you can work in core industry.

Placement Experience :

Yes, the placement activity conducted by Sinhgad college is moderate. Placement activity for 2018 batch was not that good. In the year 2018 Accenture recruit around 450 students from college. Also internship provided by college. The average stipend for internship is around 10k per month and salary for job is average 3.5LPA

College Events :

College conducts event like Sinhgad Karandak, Robotics event specially for electronic and Telecommunications students, SUPRA and BAHA event for Mechanical students. Sinhgad Karandak is biggest event of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is moderate. The fee for engineering for 1 year is around 1.1 lacs and also the fee structure depends on caste system. If student is in OBC caste then he or she has to pay around 50k and for SC/NT caste have to pay around 20k.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College provide loan letter for students who wants to take loan for education also there are scholarship programs for backward class students and the poor students who are unable to pay full fees. It is comfortable for them

Campus Life :

College conducts sports events for cricket, badminton, tennis, chess, car racing, coding competition, dance competition, fashion show, theatre competition, dance competition, music competition. Also provide labs for students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is quite good and affordable also. There are 2 type of hostels 1 for NON-NRI and 1 for NRI. The fees for NRI hostel is around 80k and for NON-NRI it's 65k. the facilities in hostel is mess+coat+table+chair+bed

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network of senior student was not that good because there is not enough contact between senior and junior. College conducts recruitment process and TPO looks for companies approach so there is not any senior level network for recruitment.

Admission :

After JEE mains score got admission through DTE. DTE is like government recruitment team which gives dates for chosing the college and related courses from college to students. After filling choice forms they display the list of students who got admission in first round. There are 3 rounds for this process.

Faculty :

The faculty of my batch was fantastic. They taught us like we were in school. They gave as everyday assignment also day to day practicals. HOD was also great for our department. Most of the teacher was PHD so they had great knowledge about their subjects.

LIFE at VIT

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.
