Remarks :
Over all opinion about the college in not upto the mark except sports. Out going batch will be definitely a disappointed one. Since it is a girls college students will not get opportunity to mingle with the opposite gender and miss out few things which will be important in future.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I did my graduation in EEE, it's quite good course. It deals with subjects like Control Systems, Machines, Power Systems, etc. These subjects needs conceptual approach. EEE has a lot of subjects if people are interested in GATE be mentally prepared to hard work. But, people who are interested in CSE and IT, I prefer not to join in courses like EEE/ ECE. Because there will be a lot of problem during switch through GRE/ job.
Placement Experience :
Opportunity of jobs are not too good compared to other colleges remarking on the position where GNITS stand. There are very few companies that comes in which very few comes with good package. Rest of them comes under 4lpa. Mainly EEE has very less scope for good job.
College Events :
There are mainly two events celebrated in my college 1- Annual day, 2- Sports day which are conducted in alternative years. On these days different clubs comes up with different concepts and events. Some other events are fresher's, farewell, signature days, thanks giving day, traditional day etc
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is really expensive with respect to the facilities the college provides. Considering all the aspects like faculty, amenities, placement opportunities, entertainment etc the fee is not worthy. It is around 1lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The college offers only scholarship to people who have very poor background. Also students get scholarship/ fee reembursment from Govt end that is 35k which is only for students under BC, OC, ST category also students under 10k EAMCET rank are eligible for total fee rembursment
Campus Life :
GNITS is known for sports. It encourages any sports for women like Volleyball, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Khabaddi, Throwball, Chess, Badminton, Table Tennis etc. Each sport has a seperate coach except Chess. Where ever the college student goes they bang the titles and return like band of fire.
Hostel Facilities :
Firstly the food is average. Maintainance of mess is good but maintainance of kitchen is very bad. People found cockroaches many times during lunch and dinner in the dishes. The fee for hostel is 65k per annum for non AC which is not worth then considering facilities like stay, food etc.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network is good. College conducts alumni meets every year. Alumni also contributes for the college development and for student fund. They also help in bringing the Alumni for student mock interviews.
Admission :
I have given my EAMCET attempt and scored certain marks which met my college entrance criteria. Such entrance is called 'A' category There will be no entrance exam for the admission. If other than EAMCET, admission is possible with MAINS marks such entrance is called 'B' category
Faculty :
All the faculty of GNITS are not greatly skilled. They are off the types. Type 1 - Gives notes, makes you understands concepts very well, guides you properly and they are of only 10%. Type 2- doesn't give notes, make you understand concepts well, clears your doubts properly and they are of 25%. Type 3- Doesn't give notes, understandable lectures, no proper clearance of doubts and the rest of the faculty meets this category.
