My college experience

Remarks :

It was a very bad experience for me to study there. It was my worst decision ever to take admission in National Institute of Event Management, New Delhi. Lectures don't help us to grow, Practical knowledge is must. The Events which they provide to us was nothing knowledgeable. We just have to go and stand there and watch out the things that's it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is of one year which has two semesters. The course was started in July and the 1st semester examination was held in the month of november which in the institute itself and the 2nd semester examination was also held in the institute in the month of may.

Placement Experience :

Institute provide me the internships but the company which they are providing for was not at all good. Either the company have salary issue or they didn't provide any certificate. And the institute doesn't provide any placement. They neither called any company in the institute nor they provide any details.

College Events :

There was only event held in our institute i.e. Mr & Miss NIEM which we have to organize by ourselves. They give a small amount of money to us in which we somehow managed to organize it. But they didn't appreciate us.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible. But they should improve their institute like in studies, faculty, job placements, internships etc. They should provide us the placements if they promised us while we were taking admissions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There were no scholarships, or loan facility offered by our institute. There were nothing such things like loan facility, extracurricular activities.nothing at all. Such a bad experience I got there.

Campus Life :

There were no extracurricular activities in our institute. There were no labs, no sports. There were only one class in which the lectures are held and two or three small cabins for the office and reception.

Hostel Facilities :

They didn't have the facility of the hostel. I have searched PG on my own which was too far from the institute as the nearest hostels of the institute were too costly which i was unable to afford that time.

Alumni/Alumna :

No Comments. I didn't know how many senior students were there. They never try to meet us. They have so much attitude. They never try to help us and I dont think that they got any knowledge from the institute.

Admission :

I searched best event management institute in New Delhi on google, then i found the name of this Institute. I talked to them, they mailed me the form so that i can fill it and mail it back and then Submit the fees online and got the admission there.

Faculty :

Faculty of our college are not so good. They are knowledgeable but they don't know how to teach. They are not able to explain deeply. They expect us to become knowledgeable itself. They never organised any guest lecture or they even not called any industry experts.

Placement Experience:

Every student studying at NITIE is placed in a decent company with a decent package. The placement committee works relentlessly to bring the best companies. The college is famous for operations and supply chain but there are plenty of roles in IT as well.
