Integrated MSc Physics at NIT Rourkela is good enough, but make sure that you don’t select this institute if you have better options in hand. The main attraction of this institute is the course structure that allows time to excel in other essential courses like Classical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, and Statistical Mechanics. In addition, you can also study specialized electives like Advanced Quantum Mechanics, Advanced Condensed Matter Physics, Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos, Nonlinear Optics, Magnetism, Semiconductors, etc.

The faculty support and laboratory facilities are very poor. So, you need to rely on online classes from external sources to understand the concept properly.
