What would be the better option between BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) Dual degree or IIIT Delhi ECE?

Studies at BITS Pilani

When it comes to ECE, I would always suggest you to choose BITS Pilani. It is the top private college in India for pursuing engineering. It is even better than some of the new IITS, NITS and IIITs. Though IIIT Delhi is also a good choice for pursuing ECE, according to me, BITS Pilani will always be a superior choice.

The course curriculum at BITS Pilani has been designed to impart both theoretical and practical knowledge to the students. The ECE department of BITS Pilani is one of the oldest and most reputed. The faculty is well experienced and helpful. They will guide you through your journey of four years and encourage you to pursue your passions. You will get to design new projects on your own which will give you confidence when you join the workforce. Top companies recruit students from our college and if you are hardworking, you’ll become one of them. All the best!

It’s difficult to choose between BITS Pilani Dual Degree and IIIT Delhi ECE. The best way to determine is to go through the pros and cons of both the institutes

BITS Pilani Pros

BITS Pilani is a highly coveted tag after the top 5 IITs in India
It’s well-known for its excellent startup culture second only to IITB and IITD.
BITS Pilani offers an excellent exposure
The institute has amazing infrastructure and hostels.

BITS Pilani Cons

BITS Pilani charges very high fees of around INR.72 Lakhs (1st Year Fees)
The dual degree is risky and you will have to study much harder to get CSE/ECE/E&I/EEE.

IIIT Delhi Pros

IIIT Delhi has an excellent coding culture.
It has a good track record of placements
IIIT Delhi is newly established and has modern infrastructure.

IIIT Delhi Cons

You will miss out on the BITS tag.
The coursework is highly rigors
IIIT Delhi has reservations so the peer quality might be compromised in contrast to BITS with no reservation policy.

Had I been in your place, I would have chosen IIIT Delhi because in BITS I would have to work extra hard to get a better branch and also maintain the two degrees. It’s better to invest that hard work in IIITD ECE and learn to code. Moreover, you will have infinite opportunities in the capital city of India.
