During a college interview for a B.Pharma program at Jamia Hamdard University, you can expect to be asked a variety of questions related to your interests, qualifications, and motivation for pursuing a career in pharmacy. Moreover, if you are unaware of the kind of questions asked, you might even flunk the interview. Usually, the interview lasts for 30 minutes, although some may be longer. A typical pattern of a general interview is as follows:

  • A small introduction talk for 5 minutes
  • A 15-minute discussion of your background and profile
  • A five-minute question round
  • A five-minute conclusion of the interview

A few sample questions you can prepare for beforehand are

  • Tell me about yourself?
  • What are your two best points?
  • What are your two weakest points?
  • What interests you outside of pharmacy and getting into pharmacy school?
  • What do you do in your spare time?
  • Why do you want to be a pharmacist?
  • When did you decide pharmacy was a good career choice for you?
  • What steps have you taken to confirm that you want to be a pharmacist?
  • What do you think being a pharmacist entails?
  • What do you feel are the most important qualities of being a good pharmacist?
  • Why do you want to attend [Pharmacy School Name]?
  • What do you look for in a good pharmacy school?
  • Why do you want to go to school here?
  • Why should [Pharmacy School Name] choose you over other candidates?
  • What do you know about the [Pharmacy School Name] program?

Prepare accordingly and ace the interview!
