My rank is 30961 in JEE Mains. Can I get CSE in IET DAVV?
With a JEE Main rank of 30961, you have a good chance of getting CSE. According to the recent trends of IET DAVV cutoff, the opening and closing ranks for CSE were 30635 and 41692 respectively. If you don’t get CSE in the first round, you should get it in the second round of counseling. Naturally, the required cutoff changes every year depending on various factors.
Which is the better option, ET in IET DAVV or CSE in JEC?
A few of my friends graduated from both IET DAVV and JEC. They say that the choice mostly varies according to your interests and the plans you have for your future.
- If you are planning for GATE then ET will not be a good choice. But if you are thinking of campus placements then IET has better records of placements than JEC.
- There is no more chance of growth in ET compared to CS. You will get better placements with CSE but for exposure and environment, IET is the better one.
- You will find good seniors and quite a supportive faculty.
- Talking of the colleges’ locations, Indore is better than Jabalpur not only fits your plans but also an important parameter while choosing a college.

Finally, IET is a better college compared to JEC but the ET course at IET is mediocre while the CS branch has a great scope. However, the final decision is up to you. Choose wisely.

Which one is better to pursue, chemical engineering at NIT Jalandhar or CSE at IET DAVV?

- In NIT, the gender ratio is 5:7. They offer various clubs and societies like the Robotics Club, Music Club, Dance Club, etc.
Faculty: NIT’s faculty is very approachable as opposed to that of IET DAVV. Students are free to contact the teachers through the mail, Whatsapp, call at any time of the day.
Both the colleges stand apart in different aspects and are good within their sphere but ultimately it is you who knows which option is better.
Which is better, CSE at Medi-Caps or E&TC at IET DAVV?
For those who hold a keen interest in Computers and it’s overall understanding are highly suggested to opt for CSE while for those who are interested in an in-depth study of telecommunication can go for E&TC. E&TC at IET DAVV stands apart and is way better than CSE at MEDI CAPS any day as it is a NAAC ‘A’ Grade University and the facts will tell you the same too.

- IET DAVV is better than MEDI CAPS in terms of extracurricular activities, events as well as college life.
Curriculum
- MEDI CAPS is a disciplinary institute where you will be fined an amount of 250/- for falling out of line.
- You do not have to worry much about all of this if you are in IET DAVV, provided you maintain the minimum amount of attendance required.
- IET DAVV is well known and renowned for its annual cultural fest, Aakshank. Many celebrities like Kailash Kher, Papon, DJ Willy, etc., have visited over the past years.
Overall, it seems that IET DAVV stands as a clear winner but MEDI CAPS has its advantages and offers good education.
Which is better IIIT Bhopal or DAVV for CSE?
IIIT Bhopal is better for CSE. It is recognized on a national level. A B.Tech degree from the institute will have better recognition in the industry. It has a brilliant faculty base. IIIT Bhopal is mentored by MANIT. Faculties from MANIT visit the campus for guest lectures.
The institute has a good placement record. IIIT Bhopal placements 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 14.03 LPA. Around 90% of students got placed this year through campus placements.
Which is better EC at IIIT DHARWAD or CS at IET DAVV, INDORE? I live in INDORE.
One of my cousins studied at IET DAVV. According to him, it will be better if you choose IET DAVV over IIIT Dharwad for engineering. Here are some reasons behind his choice -
Firstly, anyone in your situation will probably choose IET DAVV as it is situated in Indore. Your transportation and accommodation costs will minimize if you study from your hometown. This is a major advantage for you.
- IET DAVV is a reputed college. Their curriculum is updated meeting industry trends and standards.
- The college has good placement records.
- The students are talented. Also, IET has a happening college life too along with a diverse crowd.
- The faculty at IET DAVV are well experienced and highly qualified.
- IIIT Dharwad is a new institute, with no batch placed yet but there are pre-placement records.
- IIIT Dharwad has no good infrastructure at present. The college does not have a permanent campus.

Which university is better, UIT RGPV or IET DAVV?
UIT RGPV and IET DAVV are government institutes and situated in Madhya Pradesh. Being a government institute both of them have less fees. The location of both the colleges is amazing and in a developed city. UIT RGPV is situated in Indore whereas IET- DAVV in Bhopal.
Both of the cities are almost the same with some differences:-
- The cut-off for IET DAVV is higher than UIT due to its academic performance and wellness.
- Placement records and stats are also better in IET with a lot of exposure from the industries.
- Internships are again better at IET with high-end companies especially the core companies.
- UIT RGPV is said to have a better campus than IET and also has no attendance conditions required
- Counseling and doubt sessions are daily kept by professors at IET DAVV.
- IET DAVV is ranked the 2nd best Institute in Madhya Pradesh which is a bonus point. It has a better ROI.

In case of different subject offers from the institutes choose the one where you are interested in. IET DAVV is better than UIT RGPV for several years. When given a choice between CSE and ECE then definitely go for CSE as it is more in demand.
Are there any sports like cricket played in IET DAVV Indore College?
Sports events and matches do not happen inside the premises of the college. The students of the university can however play several sports in the playground of the University which is situated at a distance of a few meters from the college campus.
My brother who has recently graduated from this University used to participate in Cricket and Badminton matches regularly which were usually held at the University playground.
Some of the sports activities which are held in the University include Cricket, Football, Badminton, Volleyball, Table Tennis, and many more. There are several inter-branch and inter-college tournaments that are scheduled by the University to offer recreational and extra-curricular activities to the enrolled students.
You can enjoy a lot during your college life at this university not just because of sports but all the aspects of the college including studies, cultural activities, industrial talks, workshops, seminars, fests, etc.
How much is the difference between CSE and IT at IET DAVV Indore in terms of faculty, syllabus, labs, and placement?
According to the students studying at IET DAVV Indore, CS is better than IT there. Following points briefs about both branches:
- The faculty of IT is very lenient in comparison with CS.
- The students of IT score well. Also, the number of classes per week is lesser in IT than CS, this gives IT students some extra time for learning new productive things.
- The syllabus of IT and CS is almost same, hardly one or two subjects are different between the two.
