Will they give my certificate if I will leave the Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering , Bangalore after the first year?

RS

Studies Computer Science and Engineering at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering,2023

It can be very difficult to obtain the certificate for a course you left midway. If you are already in college and have recently completed the first year, then it is close to impossible to gain the certificate back.

I have a friend who once encountered a similar situation at the institute.

  • In his case whatsoever, the administration, quite clearly, was generally demanding the full tuition fee payment granted for a period of 4 years.
  • However, due to a mutual treaty, the amount was reduced from the one demanded before.
  • The administration and the family later came to a mutual decision to get things sorted.
  • It is best that you either do not intend to join the institute or if you recently have, then it is best to continue the course until the end.
  • As it is futile to let your finances go to waste if you do not eventually extract anything out of it.

The choice of obtaining the certificate, either way, can take almost around 6 months to a year, which is outrageous in the first place.

Which one should I choose, Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering ISE or New Horizon College of engineering CSE?

AS
Avik Samanta Posted On : September 10th, 2021
B.Tech Computer Science Engineering, Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata

According to the 2021 WBJEE cutoff, the required cutoff for CSE at Heritage Institute of Technology is 3434 (general). So, it will be difficult to get admission in CSE with your rank. As an alternative, you can go for IT at Heritage. It offers similar career prospects as the CSE branch.

With 4.5k rank, you can also try for KGEC EE/JGEC CSE/GCECT CSE/GCELT CSE/IEM IT/ GCETTS CSE.

At this rank in case, if you are getting a Govt. college don’t go for it as there is a very low chance of placements.

Which is better for ECE, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Techno India Salt Lake Sector V or Haldia Institute of Technology?

DP
Dhriti Pal Posted On : September 21st, 2021
Studied Computer Science at Techno India Salt Lake (2017)

All three colleges, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Techno India Salt Lake Sector V, and Haldia Institute of Technology are very popular colleges to pursue ECE. After careful consideration, I would say that Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) is the best among the others mentioned.

  • Dayananda Sagar is now an autonomous college and there are a lot of facilities available for the students.
  • The placement opportunities available are excellent. Many reputed companies visit the campus for interviews. Being located in Bangalore, it has a location advantage.
  • Industry visits, seminars, and internships are plenty. This can be a very good opportunity to gain some work experience and knowledge.
Categories ECE at DSCE
Placement Percentage 12 lakh
Highest CTC 10-12 LPA
Average CTC 6 LPA
Recruiting Companies Wipro, TCS, Aditya Birla, Capgemini, etc.

Hence, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is a better college than Techno India and HIT as it offers better placements and facilities to the students. Also, as the college is in Bangalore and staying there could be expensive. The living expenses and travel costs are extremely higher than usual. So prepare accordingly.

How many hostels are there in the Dayanand Sagar college of engineering for engineering students and what are the per-semester fees for them?

One of my friends studied at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE). According to him, there are two kinds of boys hostels:

  • Hostel for NRI: This might cost around 1.5 lakhs, I'm not sure though.
  • Indian Hostel: Two Indian Hostels are located within and one outside the university, around 800 m from the university.

Also, know about these facts before coming to any conclusion.

  • The residents of the Indian hostel have their own Hostel Mess where the food is like a limitless buffet there truly is excellent.
  • In the building where people can also visit, the NRI Hostel has its own canteen.
  •  It was rather cramped as 4 people had to share a room in the Indian hostels.
  • One of the beneficial features is that in this hostel you may occasionally obtain decent wireless speeds.
  • In the 2nd or 3rd year, most of my friends who went to hostels for the very first year moved to PG or home to find it cheaper.
  • The cost may now have altered as the college and all these things become independent. So everything is the finest.

Two men's hostels and Two hostels for Girls. For girls. Many pgs are also with outstanding amenities in and near the university. Nevertheless, the hostel is mostly recommended for fresher boys.

Is joining Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering through comedk worth it?

AB

B.E. from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore (2019)

Yes, joining Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering through COMEDK is totally worth it. The college is among the top 10 colleges in Bangalore. You will not find any other college with such good infrastructure in Bangalore, it is the best.

However, whether it will be worth joining or not depends on the branch that you want to join. I have a few friends from Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering and according to them, the mechanical engineering department is quite good.

DSCE also has a good placement record. In the recent placement, the average CTC offered was 4.5 lakhs, while 15 lakhs was the highest CTC offered.

Which college is good for aeronautical engineering in Bangalore among Acharya Institute and Dayanand Sagar College? How are the placements at these colleges?

RC
Riya Chakroborty Posted On : September 13th, 2021
Studied Aeronautical Engineering at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering,2019

Before deciding, you should pay a visit to both the institutes. After analyzing what they have to offer, choose as per your convenience.

Here are some factors you should have knowledge about AIT (Acharya Institute of Technology). One of my colleagues is a Communications and English language Professor here, and can possibly elaborate on this subject better.

  • Since he interacts with the students and professors of the Aeronautical department, he mentions that they have unlimited energy for student facilitation, guidance, and mentoring.
  • They take part in a large number of events, whenever organized.
  • If you visit the campus, you will be thrilled to see their enthusiasm regarding their ongoing projects.
  • Acharya Institute of Technology claims to have strong tie-ups with American, European, and other foreign universities, making it rather simpler to pursue higher studies overseas.
  • A large number of students also visit my colleague for in-house TOEFL coaching, before eventually applying for the student visa to the United States.

In fewer words, it is a life-changing course, if pursued with proper guidance and efficiency. Hope this answers your query.

Which is better- IEM in Ms. Ramaiah or EEE in Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering?

SR
Sushmita Raj Posted On : September 17th, 2021
Studied at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering ,Bangalore (2016)

After doing some research online, I would suggest not to go for IEM at Ramaiah, until and unless you are extremely interested in studying that particular subject. Since it will not pay you anything and you will eventually wind up in the same category of mass placement at one of the service-based companies.

Double-check the topics you will be studying. EEE is usually less exposed than IEM, yet EEE is regarded as the most complex branch to be studied.

The majority of EEE / ECE / other branches receive job offers from Infosys, HCL, Accenture, or Tech Mahindra.

Parameters IEM at Ms. Ramaiah EEE at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering
Tuition Fees INR 3.47 lakh  INR 10 lakh
Placement Percentage 95% 70%
Highest Package 13 LPA 15 LPA
Average Package 7.6 LPA INR 8 LPA

So, what is the point of learning core Electronics if all you have to do at the conclusion of your engineering degree is code? If you want to build a career, think seriously about the branch you select. Regardless of the institution you attend, I believe EEE is far superior to IEM. Pursue EEE only if you are truly passionate about the subject.
