12th standard is a good time to start preparing for Law examinations. Rather than targeting NLSIU or CLAT, you should focus on learning all concepts tested for law examination selection. Adopt a well-structured learn-practice-test approach.

Focus on clearing your concepts first. Once you are through, solve different Q types and take CLAT mocks. Analyze the mocks thoroughly. This will help you improve your score.

How can we prepare for the JEE Mains while attending classes at NIT Sikkim?

IT
Ishaan Tiwari Posted On : July 5th, 2021
Studied at NIT Trichy (2019)

JEE Main is a tough exam and it gets even tougher if you have your college studies to do. But luckily in NIT Sikkim, the study pressure is less, so you can prepare easily. For preparation, you can take an extra day off from the institute with permission.

  • Talking about the JEE subjects, Mathematics is the same as the course in 1st year so it gives you a good revision and more guidance to cover your topics.
  • For Chemistry especially the organic part and inorganic part comes only from the NCERT books and from the previous year’s papers.
  • For Physical Chemistry, you can ask your faculty from the chemistry department to help you with it.
  • Moreover, class notes, previous year’s papers, and a good book will set you up properly.
  • For Physics HC Verma and DC Pandey are the best books available. The physics department helps you if you ask regarding anything.
  • In the first-semester course differential and integral calculus are covered so you don’t have to worry about them.

NIT is a good option and you won’t have anything to lose so it is safe. Just solve a lot of practice papers.

How do I prepare for the Haryana police constable exam in 45 days?

DD
Disha Das Posted On : January 20th, 2021
Studied at The Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies (2018)

A lot of candidates apply for the Haryana police constable exam and most of them prepare diligently but there are a few who for some reason or the other don't get a hold of it and start searching for preparation tips and tricks when only a few days are left. There is a simple way to prepare for exams in a few days you can follow.

Planning is Important:

  • If you have started preparing only a few days before the exam then you should plan a proper strategy and stick to it.
  • The plan should be as per the days left in the exam and of course taking into consideration what kind of time each subject demands.

Gather study material:

  • Once the time management is done then it's time to gather the material like important books, resources available online and then start studying.
  • Maths and reasoning demand time and a lot of practice so make sure to devote a certain amount of time to these subjects every day.

Practice previous years' papers:

  • This is one of the best ways to prepare for an exam in a few days.
  • There are questions that are asked every 2-3 years and practicing them only helps you in preparing well for the exam.

During the day of the exam keep a calm mind and compose yourself. Reading in the last minute is not advised. Do not put too much pressure on yourself. Revise what you have prepared and do not rush to read newer topics.

What should be my schedule for the 2022 CLAT if I start preparing from today to get into NLSIU?

KS
Kalyani Sharma Posted On : September 23rd, 2021
Studied BA LLB (Hons) Law & Humanities,Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University,Lucknow (2017)

2 months of preparation is enough if you are aspiring for CLAT but you should work hard with sheer dedication.

  • You should join some crash courses but before joining it, give a mock test to identify your strong and weak points.
  • Once done, you should start preparing without any time limit. If you have practiced enough, then set a timer and give each section proper time.
  • To enhance your GK, read newspapers daily apart from the glamorous news. They will help you immensely during your exam.
  • You should also keep an eye on the websites for the information related to CLAT. You can also find mock papers that are easily available.
  • It would be better if you have friends who are also preparing for CLAT as you can study together with them and discuss doubts.

Last but not least we can say that by following these steps you can easily clear CLAT and can achieve the heights, just keep in mind that you need to match the level of the CLAT exam so develop your aptitude accordingly.

Is it possible to study at Heritage Institute of Technology and prepare for the JEE 2021? Has anyone done it before? How do I go about it?

SD
Sangeeta Dixit Posted On : September 13th, 2021
Bachelor of Technology Information Technology,Heritage Institute of Technology,Kolkata (2016)

It totally depends upon you and how you manage to do your studies. One of my friends who was in HIT tried for his 2nd attempt but couldn’t make it due to lack of focus. There may be a few more examples, but it is not possible to opt for IIT or any top-notch college after studying for 1 year at Heritage.

It may have been possible a few years back but now, Heritage Institute is an autonomous institute. A rigid attendance policy and curriculum are being followed here and you will get little to no time for JEE preparation.

You can opt for lateral entry as various colleges accept it. IIIT Hyderabad is one such example. However, you will be granted admission based on various parameters and your profile.

Determination, patience, and motivation are the main keys. Life at any engineering college is not a piece of cake. You will be overloaded with tasks and assignments. If you are focused and find balance in your life then, you will succeed.
