What should I do? I am confused on where I should take admission in Gujrat. Should I choose Nirma University, L.D. College or Dharmsinh Desai University? Which branch, CE or IT?

- CE is preferred over IT because CE (or CSE) contains more subjects, especially hardware and electronics papers. Also, placements in CE are better than IT, in most institutes.

Should I join Nirma University, Ahmedabad, or RVCE Bangalore (engineering)?
Both Nirma University and RVCE Bangalore are one of the prestigious colleges in India for Engineering. NIRF 2020 has ranked Nirma University at 131 for engineering. Whereas, RVCE Bangalore is ranked 70 for engineering by NIRF 2020. One thing which also needs to be taken into consideration is that Nirma University is a private University situated in Ahmedabad while RVCE is a semi-autonomous University.
Admission
Nirma University offers BTech courses in various specializations at the UG level for engineering whereas RVCE offers BE degrees.

Which college is better for a BDes course (visual communication), Nirma University or Srishti School of Design?
Design courses are relatively new at Nirma University. Quite naturally, you will have some of the inexperienced faculty. With this, everything comes down to how eventually, there is nothing you can learn from here.
When it comes to Srishti School of Design, it is still better as it is an old and quite a reputed institute. It becomes more reliable in front of the masses' perception. However, the school has been sold off to Manipal University. It is now offering degree programs but in this process, course pattern along with the reputed faculty has been put at stake. They are not as well known as they used to be.
You can instead opt for WUD Sonipat and MIT Pune as both of them are good in terms of quality education. Trust me and look into these institutes as well. Make sure eventually your decision is an informed one.

Symbiosis Pune is better than Nirma University. It offers better education and opportunities to students. Symbiosis Pune courses are well-designed and the institute has a brilliant faculty base. Most of the faculty members have years of experience in their field. Due to the growing industries in Pune, it’s easier for students to get placement opportunities as well.
How good is studying IC from Nirma University?
One of my friends studied at the IT branch but has little idea about the IC branch. But, when compared to DAIICT, Nirma University is the best place to study if you have firmly established goals and would like to work for them.
- The management is really good but it is a strict college that might give few school vibes.
- At Nirma, you will learn a lot about discipline, good manners, and management while having a good college life and a great career if you are not planning to do your Masters in foreign universities.
- They have a diverse student population.
- If you can afford the fee at Nirma University, my advice to you would be to go ahead and secure your seat.

The computer department is very well established as far as faculty is concerned. A few classmates who studied in IC are also quite happy with the branch.

In terms of both recognition and ranking NMIMS is a far more reputable institution than Nirma University. The tuition as well as the many other costs are significantly greater than those of Nirma University.
It is important to consider the exposure and influence that a university has on an individual. The majority of NMIMS students come from outside the campus area and are from upper middle class and higher middle class backgrounds. NMIMS will offer more diversity as students come from all over India.

Both Nirma and DDU Nadiad are very good colleges and provide very good facilities to the students. But you should choose a college based on the department.
- Among these two DDU will be a better option if you opt for chemical engineering. It is the best in Gujrat.
- If you want to pursue Computer Science, Nirma University would be a better choice than DDU.
- Many reputed companies participate in their placement program.
- Companies like Microsoft, Google, Byju’s, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, ZS Associates, IBM, etc,
- The faculty of both colleges are very talented and experienced. They are also very helpful and supportive.
- There are no major sports like cricket, football, and basketball available inside the DDU campus. But there are some indoor games like table tennis and badminton which you can play during your free time.
- The placements are also above average.

MIT Manipal is a better option. It is counted among the top private technological institute in the country. It offers better facilities and good placement opportunities. Which is better for EEE? Nirma institute of technology, Manipal or NIT Goa?

BITS, Goa is a much more recognised institution than Nirma University which reflects in its rankings. BITS also score higher in terms of placements, infrastructure and facilities available at the two institutions. With a lower fees structure and better facilities, BITS Goa would be a much more secure option between the two colleges.
