VMOU MBA & MCA Admission 2022 Open; Deadline Extended till October 03

New Delhi: Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, (VMOU) has extended the application deadline for admission to its MBA and MCA programme for the July 2022 Session. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @www.vmou.ac.in, by October 3, 2022. 

Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, VMOU Kota (earlier Kota Open University) offers MBA programmes under specialisations like Human Resource Management, Financial Management, and Marketing Management. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA or MCA programme can submit their applications till October 3, 2022. 

Admission to the MBA programme will be based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the management entrance test conducted by VMOU or in any of the management exams like MAT/CAT/CMAT. Similarly, the university conducts an entrance test for admission to the MCA programme.

VMOU MBA & MCA Entrance Exam 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions into the MBA and MCA programmes offered by VMOU, Kota will have to fulfill the requisite eligibility criteria. 

Eligibility Criteria for MBA: 

• Candidates must be a graduate with 50% marks or hold a bachelor's degree with three years of supervisory/ managerial/ professional experience or Professional Qualification in Accountancy/ Cost and Works Accountancy/Company Secretary etc. or Master's degree in any subject.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA: 

• Candidates must have passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree.
• OR Candidates must hold a B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. Degree with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University). 
• Candidates must have Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination

VMOU MBA & MCA Entrance Exam 2022: Selection Process

Selection Process for MBA: 

• Candidate's selection to the MBA programme will be based on the score in the qualifying Management Entrance Test (MET) organised by VMOU or by the scores in MAT /CAT/ CMAT /any other recognised test organised by Competition Test Agency during the last one year. 
• The University reserves the right to exempt the test or decide the cut off pass percentage for admission. The requisite score card of the test is to be enclosed with the Application Form if the test score of another agency is to be considered for Admission. 
• One who qualifies the Management Entrance Test will be required to fulfil the admission eligibility as mentioned above. 

Selection Process for MCA: 

• Candidate's selection to the MCA programme will be made on merit decided on the basis of marks obtained in MCA Entrance Test organized by VMOU. 
• The test score will remain valid for one year from the date of announcement of the MCA Entrance Test result.
• The University reserves the right to exempt the test or decide the cut off pass percentage for the admission. One who qualifies the MCA Entrance test will be required to fulfil the admission eligibility as mentioned above.

VMOU MBA & MCA Entrance Exam 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of VMOU @https://www.vmou.ac.in/ 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

VMOU MBA & MCA Entrance Exam 2022: Exam Details 

MBA Entrance Test: 

• The management entrance test (MET) will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes. 
• There will be 4 sections: Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, and Numerical Ability, with 25 multiple choice questions each. 
• All the questions carry equal marks and each question carries 1 mark.

MCA Entrance Exam:

The structure of the MCA Entrance Test will be as follows:-

• The entrance exam will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes. 
• All the questions will be multiple choice questions. 
• The medium of MCA Entrance Test will be English only.
• Each question has a weightage of 1 mark.
• There will be no negative marking.
