New Delhi: The IIT Bombay has released the total seat availability for UCEED 2024 on uceed.iitb.ac.in. The total number of seats in UCEED is 225. According to the UCEED seat matrix 2024, the aggregate number of seats offered at IITs for BDes admission has increased by 20 due to the inclusion of IIT Roorkee in the list of UCEED colleges.

The total seats for candidates who qualified in the entrance exam is 205 excluding seats of IITDM Jabalpur, with 79 allocated to individuals in the general category. UCEED 2024 Reservation Highlights
- Candidates from specific categories including EWS, OBC, SC, and ST are eligible for UCEED admissions under reserved seats. It's important to note that reservation benefits will only apply to castes and tribes in the corresponding central list published by the Government of India.
- Furthermore, reservation benefits are contingent upon document verification. Suppose it is found that the candidate has given any false, fake, or inaccurate documents or provided misleading or incomplete information to avail reservation benefits. In that case, such candidates will be disqualified from all admission procedures.
- Reservations for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) at 5% will be applied horizontally. The distribution of seats in the PwD category will be included alongside the seat matrix for the academic year 2024-25. Throughout the UCEED counselling process, inquiries regarding the availability of vacant seats at different institutes via email or phone will not be accepted. Any seats left vacant under the SC, ST, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories will not be allocated to candidates from other categories.
