Tamil Nadu NEET Counseling​ 2024: Stray Vacancy Schedule Released for MBBS/BDS Degree Courses

Important Highlights

For MBBS and BDS, registration and choice filling will take place from October 25, 2024, at 12:01 PM until October 28, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The processing of seat allotment is scheduled for October 29, 2024, with results announced the same day. Candidates can download their provisional allotment orders from October 29 until November 5, 2024, at 12:00 PM, and the last date for reporting is set for November 5, 2024, at 3:00 PM.

For the Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, registration will be conducted from October 25, 2024, at 12:01 PM to October 26, 2024, at 5:00 PM, followed by choice filling from October 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM to October 28, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The final results will be declared on October 29, 2024, and candidates can download their provisional allotment orders from October 29 to October 30, 2024. The last date for joining is set for October 30, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

Key Points for the Counseling Process

• Candidates who are not holding any MBBS/BDS seats in All India Quota and State Quota can participate.

• Candidates who have already joined any MBBS/BDS seats in All India Quota and State Quota (either Government Quota/Management Quota/NRI Quota/NRI Lapsed Quota) are not eligible to participate in this round of counseling.

• Candidates who did not join their seats allotted through Tamil Nadu State Counseling Round-3 are also not eligible to participate.

Security Deposit

• Candidates must pay an additional security deposit of ₹5 Lakhs (Rupees Five Lakhs Only) for MBBS and ₹2 Lakhs (Rupees Two Lakhs Only) for BDS to participate in the Stray Round or subsequent rounds.
• This deposit is non-refundable if the candidate does not join the course after allotment.
• Candidates opting for choice filling for Government Colleges alone do not need to pay the additional security deposit.

Registration Fees

• Candidates who have not previously registered and are participating in the online choice filling for MBBS/BDS Degree Courses will have to remit a non-refundable registration fee of ₹500 for Government Quota and ₹1000 for Management Quota.
• Candidates who have participated and paid their registration but were not allotted any MBBS/BDS seats in previous rounds do not need to pay the registration fee again.

• If candidates do not lock their choices by the deadline, their choices will be automatically locked.

• The selection committee does not take responsibility for any procedural errors.
• Admission to MBBS/BDS degree courses will be made through online counseling process based on rank and reservation.
