SVKM’s NMIMS and EHIS Indore Hosted Asia’s Largest High School Event “MU20 High School Summit’

New Delhi: SVKM's NMIMS Indore and Emerald Heights International School have jointly organised the 'MU20 High School Summit,' Asia's largest event of leading high schools. The event was held in collaboration with MU20 School of Opportunity and AFS India.

As per NMIMS Indore, the summit was attended by over 3,000 participants, including over 2,000 enthusiastic students and over 100 globally famous schools and their principals. The three-day summit's opening ceremony was held at the Emerald Heights International School and next-day events were held at the NMIMS Indore Campus.

Informing about the event, Dr. Sumer Singh, President of MU20 School of Opportunity, said "The summit was aimed at bringing together schools and students from diverse backgrounds and creating an enriching experience for everyone”.

“It truly lived up to the promise as participants showcased immense energy. We would like to appreciate the role of each of our partners in making the event successful and look forward to a long-term partnership with them", he added.

MU20 High School Summit 2023 Highlights

The summit was held around the theme of ‘Celebrating the Youth’, which connected strongly with the participants' energy and excitement. It represented the changing dynamics of education in India and gave students a platform to display their creative ideas.

The key highlights of the summit include a 'Cultural Walk' in partnership with INIFD Indore and Optional Media Solutions, ‘MU20x' held with Josh Talks, 'Theatrics Challenge', and workshops on performing arts by a team from Mr Anupam Kher’s film school, ‘Actor Prepares’.

In addition to this, the summit featured 'MU20 Under 20', in which young talents from various domains were recognised for their accomplishment. The 'Entrepreneur Challenge' was hosted together with the Government of India as part of their 'Start-Up India' project. It aimed to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of students.

Sanskaar Valley School, the Entrepreneurial Challenge winner was awarded INR 50,000 from Anuj Kanwar, Founder of School Sharks. Students who participated in the challenge had to create a functional prototype of their original business concepts and present them to industry experts and potential investors.

Sharing his experience, Dr Anshuman Jaswal, Director, NMIMS Indore, said "The MU20 High Summit was a transformative forum of knowledge exchange. We gained a new perspective through the summit and were introduced to a whole new outlook towards teaching and learning. The success of the event has inspired us to organise such meaningful events at the college level".
