New Delhi: IIT Roorkee is set to organize a groundbreaking Google Research Sponsored Mentorship Program 2023, which represents a remarkable opportunity for students and researchers at IIT Roorkee to work closely with experts and professionals from Google.

IIT Roorkee is currently inviting applications for this program till December 15, 2023. The program will aim to empower students from historically marginalized communities, women, college students in remote areas, and individuals from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Google Research Sponsored Mentorship Program: Eligibility Criteria

The Google Research Sponsored Mentorship Program 2023 is open for all final-year UG/PG students. The selections will be notified via email, with a limited 50 seats available. The program will be conducted both virtually and on-site.

The Google Research Award will cover travel, accommodation, and food costs up to INR 15,000. Accommodation, subject to availability, will be provided at the IIT Roorkee hostel with catering facilities.

About Google Research Sponsored Mentorship Program 2023

The main objective of the Google Research Sponsored Mentorship Program 2023 is to provide students with an immersive experience in various computing research fields, guided by expert faculty from top universities and institutes.

The program's key features include direct engagement with domain experts and faculty members from esteemed institutions, learning, interaction, and collaboration opportunities with them.

In addition to this, it will include access to work on advanced technologies at Tinkering Lab, IIT Roorkee, participation in workshops, poster presentations, hackathons, hands-on technical skill-building sessions, and the attainment of a Google Research Award Certificate upon successful workshop completion.
