IIT Roorkee and Imarticus Learning to Launch Certification Program in HR Management and Analytics

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Continuing Education Centre (CEC) of the IIT Roorkee will launch a Certification Program in Human Resource (HR) Management and Analytics for Data-Driven HR Professionals in association with Imarticus Learning.

As per IIT Roorkee, candidates who complete this degree will have the knowledge and abilities needed to succeed in the field of human resource management, with a focus on increasing organisational effectiveness and streamlining HR processes. The institute also actively contributes to the creation of curricula, the delivery of courses and practical training.

Throughout the six-month training period, 100 hours of live instruction encompassing both theoretical knowledge and practical experience will be given to participants. Students will benefit from a top-notch educational experience with the opportunity to take part in live sessions with famous IIT Roorkee faculty members on the weekends. 

Candidates can become adept in both advanced machine learning algorithms for predictive analysis and basic statistical tools like Excel thanks to the curriculum's coverage on the use of three or more tools. The opportunity to apply newly acquired knowledge will be given to participants as they work on eight or more real-world case studies.

Informing about this initiative, Nikhil Barshikar, Founder of Imarticus Learning said, “The shift from traditional HR practices to data-driven decision-making is crucially accelerated by this project. By providing professionals with the skills and knowledge they require, we hope to enable them to transform HR management and advance organisational success”.

“In conjunction with CEC, IIT Roorkee, we are laying the foundation for a new generation of HR professionals who are conscious of the influence that data and analytics may have on the future of work”, he further added.

The reactive character of the workplace is typically the focus of conventional HR tasks, which include managing payment issues and posting employment vacancies. Analytics and HR management create a proactive workplace culture and make decisions based on data and analytics. 

Experts in this field combine quantitative and qualitative data to guide their judgements, and they analyse HR data using machine learning, statistics, and technologies like Excel and Python. Due to this growth, HR specialists may play a crucial role in improving organisational performance and encouraging a proactive work environment.

The CEC, IIT Roorkee, offers an industry-recognized HR certification to students who successfully finish the program. It's a significant certification that demonstrates students have attained the necessary skills, helping them stand out and advance in their employment.
