IIT Patna PhD Admission 2023-24 Open; Last Date to Apply is November 16

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna is inviting applications for admission to its PhD program for the academic session 2023-24 (January 2023). Interested candidates can now apply online by submitting their online applications by November 16, 2022. 

As per IIT Patna, the admission window for PhD program is open under various specialisations including Chemical & Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Humanities and Physics among others. 

To apply for IIT Patna PhD Admission 2023, interested candidates need to have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in the required field with at least 75% marks or equivalent grades. Applicants must also have a valid score in the qualifying examination; GATE or NET to apply for admission.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna at iitp.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the latest IIT Patna PhD Admission 2023-24 link available on the homepage. 

Step 3: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id, etc.

Step 4: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all required details in the Application form.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the IIT Patna PhD Admission 2023-24 Application form. 

Step 6: Applicants must also take a printout of the application form for all future needs.

As per the official notice, the Institute will shortlist candidates based on test/interview, based on performance in GATE/NET and grades/marks in the qualifying examination. Merely fulfilling minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for the test/interview.
