IIT Patna Partners with TeamLease and NSDC to Boost Graduate Employability

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna, TeamLease EdTech, and NSDC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to fast-track innovative learning initiatives prioritising employability.

The MoU signed by IIT Patna establishes a solid partnership to work for and support an alternative format of higher education. It integrates high-quality formal education, skill development, and connectivity with employers. Through this initiative, each learner can earn an IIT Degree alongside an experience certificate from an employer.

Graduating students can also enrol in these programs to obtain Dual Degrees. Accessible through smartphones upon registration, an integrated technology platform facilitates enrollment. The program enrollment is scheduled to commence in January 2024.

As a part of this collaboration, the newly introduced Work-linked Hybrid Degree Programs boast five distinct features:

Learning by Doing: Students can intern with an employer, gaining practical, hands-on skills.
Learning while Earning: Interning students can earn a monthly stipend.
Learning with Flexibility: The programs blend online learning, skills training, on-the-job training, and on-campus experiences.
Learning with Modularity: Options for credit mobility will be provided to learners over time.
Learning with Employer Signalling: These programs indicate skill-building alongside academic excellence.

This collaboration seeks to expedite the development of forward-looking programs focused on enhancing every aspiring student's value to potential employers while graduating from this esteemed institution.
