The FIST, an NIDHI-TBI at IIT Patna, invites researchers, students, staff, innovators, startups, and entrepreneurs to submit business concepts.
New Delhi: Researchers, students, staff, innovators, startups, and entrepreneurs were asked to submit business plans to the Foundation for Innovators in Science and Technology (FIST), an NIDHI-TBI at IIT Patna. Aspiring candidates should send info_tbi@iitp.ac.in their well completed business proposals in the format specified. Candidates should be aware that they must submit their business proposals by May 29, 2023, at the latest.
Any Indian person with an original concept can develop it into a usable product. One can apply for incubation on behalf of students, faculty, other innovators, and start-ups or entrepreneurs. Innovations/companies chosen for incubation will receive mentoring, infrastructure support, fully furnished offices and communication facilities, PCs, domain experts, access to ecosystem, access to technology labs, business support connect, access to FIST labs, and consumable/ contingency support up to INR 3 lakhs, as well as an investor meetup from angel and venture capital firms.
Depending on the terms and conditions, funding 2 agencies will arrange seed money up to INR 10 lakhs. To be eligible for incubation at IIT Patna, candidates must submit a business plan (only in the format specified). The submitted business plan should be roughly 10 pages long and should include all necessary details.
Candidates should include the following information to info_tbi@iitp.ac.in in their business plans: value proposition (highlighting innovation), management team profile, advisory board profile (if any), planned product and service portfolio, product development milestones and timelines, approach and infrastructure requirements for technical implementation, market potential analysis and competition analysis, funding requirements, capital structure, and go-to-market.
