New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is accepting applications for admission to its 4-year BS Degree Programs in Data Science and Applications & Electronic Systems. Interested applicants can submit their applications through the official website at study.iitm.ac.in/ds and study.iitm.ac.in till May 26, 2024.

The BS Degree Programs aims to provide high-quality education that is accessible and affordable to individuals wanting to secure a IIT Madras Degree.

Due to an increasing demand for data science and electronics expertise, these programs offer various career opportunities to witness sustained growth in the coming years.

The admission process for the BS Degree Programs are done in two ways: you can either choose a self-contained qualifier process or opt for direct admission based on their performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 or 2023.

Selected students from economically weaker backgrounds will be able to apply for scholarships covering up to 75% of the tuition fees.

Ques. What are the eligibility criteria for IIT Madras BS Degree admission 2024?

Ans. You will be required to pass your school certification examination for class 12 examination from any recognised board to be eligible to apply for admission to these courses. For BS Degree in Data Science and Applications, there is no specific eligibility requirement. But for BS in Electronic Systems, you would require a background in Mathematics and Physics at the class XII level.
