IIT Jodhpur Admission 2024 Open for MTech, PhD Program through GATE/IIT JAM Scores; Apply till April 20

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur is inviting applications for admission to its MTech and PhD programs for the academic session 2024-25. Admissions are open from March 19, 2024 and the application form is available until April 20, 2024. 

As per IIT Jodhpur, the shortlist for the courses depends on your GATE 2024 and your IIT JAM 2024 scores. Applications for both PG and PhD courses are available on the official website at iitj.ac.in for all interested and eligible candidates. 

IIT Jodhpur Admission 2024: List of Available Programs

IIT Jodhpur’s list of PG and PhD programs runs wide. It includes programs such as:

• M.Tech in various disciplines including Materials Engineering, Robotics and Mobility Systems, Bioscience and Bioengineering, Sensors and Internet of Things, etc.
• There are also dual degree programs such as Master’s and Masters-PhDs in Medical Technologies, Digital Humanities, Data and Computational Sciences, Physics, etc.
• You can also obtain an M.S. Research degree in areas like Brain Science, Master of Design, or AI-based Precision Healthcare.
• The PhD programs offered at IIT Jodhpur span from PhDs in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering and Chemistry to PhDs in Robotics and Mobility Systems, Digital Humanities, Space Science & Technologies, etc. 

What is the Eligibility Criteria for IIT Jodhpur’s PG and PhD Admission 2024?

For PG/MTech programs, you must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks for GEN/OBC category and 55% for SC/ST/PWD category. A valid GATE score or IIT JAM score is also necessary, especially if you wish to avail yourself of fellowships or scholarships.

For PhD programs, you must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 60% marks for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC category and 55% for SC/ST/PWD category. Depending on the program you want to choose, GATE scores may also be required.

How to Apply for IIT Jodhpur PG/PhD Program 2024?

Step 1: Go to the official website at iitj.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the admissions menu and choose the program you want to apply for.

Step 3: Click on “Apply Online” after reading through all the details of the program. You will be redirected to the online application form login (an example of PG login is given below).

Step 4: Register yourself at the portal, log in and fill out the application form.

Step 5: Pay the application fee. Download a copy of your application form and fee receipt for future reference.
