IIT Hyderabad Summer Internship Application Open @iith.ac.in; Apply by March 10

Ans. Selected students will receive INR 15,000 for the two-month internship duration. For one month internship, they'll get INR 7,500 and for a one-and-a-half-month internship, the candidate will receive INR 10,000. Students can select one of these options: one month, one and a half months, or the full two months. No other amounts or benefits are applicable beyond these specified amounts.

Ans. Visit the official website at iith.ac.in/research/SURE/ and click on the registration link. Click on “Register”. Fill the required details and click on submit.

Ans. Only Non-IIT Hyderabad students are eligible to apply. Candidates must be first-year MSc students in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology or first to fourth-year students pursuing MA, BTech, or BDes in any discipline. Integrated BTech/MTech students in their third or fourth year are also eligible.

To apply, candidates must rank in the top 20 per cent based on CGPA or percentage scores in previous years, certified by the Head of the Institute/Principal during application. Applicants should be full-time students capable of working full-time for at least one month during the internship. While hostel accommodation is provided, interns cover mess charges at IITH student hostels.

Ans. The Summer Undergraduate Research Exposure (SURE) internship selection process involves an initial screening of applications, followed by department or mentor-specific online interviews, depending on the department's preference. The names of the shortlisted candidates will be announced on April 15, 2024.
