New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Hyderabad will organize an open house for students who qualify in the JEE Advanced 2023. The event will take place on June 20 and 21, from 9:45 AM. The event on June 20 will be a hybrid event, while the event on June 21 will be conducted online.

The link to the online meetings will be shared on the IITH website and social media platforms. IIT Hyderabad's "Open Day" event aims to demonstrate the institute's initiatives in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among students.

During the event, students will be familiarized with industry-oriented BTech programs, semester-long internship opportunities, and a curriculum designed to develop innovation and entrepreneurship skills right from the first year, as remarked by IIT Hyderabad Director BS Murty.

According to Prof BS Murty, the Director of IIT Hyderabad, the institute follows a student-centric approach to education and believes that engineering education should be industry-centric. This philosophy is evident in all the recently introduced BTech programs at IIT-H, which aims to produce skilled individuals ready for the industry.

Apart from IIT Hyderabad, IIT Patna will also conduct an open house on June 20, starting from 10:30 am. Furthermore, IIT Madras has decided to conduct a demo day online between June 17 and 18, and an offline event on June 24. Interested students must register before June 16 to participate.

Meanwhile, the results of JEE Advanced will be announced on June 18, and starting from June 19, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling for 2023 will commence. The first round of seat allocation will be declared on June 30. The final round of seat allocation for IITs will conclude on July 28, while for NITs and other colleges, the last day of JoSAA Counselling 2023 will be on July 31, 2023.
