New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad is offering an online MTech in Electric Vehicle Technology for the academic session 2023-25. Interested candidates can submit their online applications on the official website of the university, iith.ac.in.

Candidates must note that the application window for IIT Hyderabad Online MTech (EV) Admission 2023 will close on June 15, 2023. Applicants are advised to visit the official website before the application deadline to submit their application form.

Through this initiative, IIT Hyderabad aims to reach out to industry professionals through this online program with the objective to upskill them. It will further help engineers to make appropriate improvements and strategic decisions on their electric vehicle products and implications.

The online program encompasses the multidisciplinary approach (one of the main pillars of New Education Policy, NEP-2020) to train the workforce in the technology domains of Drives, Transmission, Batteries, Power Electronics, Safety, and Product Design.

To be eligible for the program, candidates need not have a valid score in GATE 2023. They should hold a BTech first class in ME/ EE/ ECE/ CE discipline or other relevant equivalent degrees with at least 60% marks in aggregate to apply for admission.

In addition to this, candidates must have at least two years of industry experience after BTech and they should be currently working in an industry. The duration of the programs is maximum 4-Year for MTech (EV) and maximum 3-Year for Executive MTech (EV) program.
