IIT Gandhinagar Early M.Tech Admission for July 2024 Open; Apply till October 20

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar is inviting applications from B.Tech students for its Early Admit MTech Programme beginning in July 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website till October 20, 2023.

IIT Gandhinagar offers early admission to their M.Tech course for final year B.Tech students studying in NITs and IITs. Admission is open for M.Tech courses in 8 disciplines: MTech degrees in 8 disciplines: Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Earth System Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering.

IIT Gandhinagar M.Tech Early Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Here are the detailed eligibility requirements that candidates need to follow to apply for IIT Gandhinagar Early Admission:

• Final year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) students from NITs with a CPI/ CGPA of not less than 8.0 at the end of their 3rd year for candidates from General/EWS/OBC categories OR CPI/ CGPA of not less than 7.5 at the end of their 3rd year for candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories.
• Final year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) students from select colleges who are among the top 5 rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre-final year for candidates from General/EWS/OBC categories or top 10 rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre-final year for candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories.
• Students from Final year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) from IITs with a CPI/CGPA of not less than 6.0 at the end of their 3rd year.

IIT Gandhinagar M.Tech Early Admission 2024: Admission Procedure

Admission is generally offered on the basis of an interview, which is supplemented by a written test if necessary. The final selection will be mainly based on academic credentials, written test and/or interview.

The reserved category candidates will be given due relaxation in cutoff marks as per the norms.

The mode (offline/online) and dates for the written test (if any) and interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates by their respective departments.
