IIT Delhi Rolls Out MA Program in Culture, Society and Thought, Registrations To Begin on March 20; Check Direct Link to Apply Here

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi) Department of Humanities and Social Sciences has introduced a Master of Arts program in Culture, Society, and Thought. Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can access the official website at ecampus.iitd.ac.in to fill out the application form starting from March 20, 2024.

The 2-year MA program in Culture, Society and Thought, at IIT Delhi, focuses mainly on the themes of culture, society, and thought, with a foundation in key disciplines such as sociology, literature, and philosophy. Interested candidates can complete the registration process for these courses by April 4, 2024. 

IIT Delhi MA Program Admission: Highlights 

Speaking about the newly introduced MA program, Farhana Ibrahim, the Department Head of Humanities and Social Sciences at IIT Delhi, expressed that the MA program explores contemporary themes and interdisciplinary approaches within the realms of Humanities and Social Sciences. 

Designed to equip students for diverse career paths, including politics, think tanks, social work, research, and academia, the program also serves as a pathway for graduates to pursue PhD studies offered by IIT Delhi's Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.

IIT Delhi MA Program Admission: Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for IIT Delhi MA Admission, interested applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 55% or an equivalent CGPA for BA, and first division for other degrees. 
• To apply, candidates must either pass the entrance exam or submit their GATE 2024 score for consideration. 

• Furthermore, the shortlisted candidates will have to undergo interviews in May 2024 as part of the final admission process.

How To Apply For IIT Delhi MA Program? 

To enroll in IIT Delhi's new MA Programme, eligible candidates should follow these steps for registration. Before proceeding with the application, it's important to go through the eligibility criteria to ensure a smooth process.

Step 1: Visit the official website at ecampus.iitd.ac.in/PGADM/login.

Step 2:Select the registration link for the MA programme.

Step 3: Complete the application form, providing personal and educational details.

Step 4: Upload the necessary documents as specified.

Step 5: Make the payment for the application fee to finalize the registration.

Step 6: Download and retain a printed copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

Meanwhile, the MA programs at IIT Delhi are scheduled to begin in July 2024. Further, an open house event is planned for March 15, 2024, where discussions will cover various aspects of the program, including its structure, fees, faculty, accommodation, scholarships, and academic and career opportunities.
