IIT Delhi Phase 1 Placement Drive 2024 recorded a total of 1050 job offers and over 50 international offers from about 20 global companies. Check the placement report here!
New Delhi: IIT Delhi is currently conducting the placement drive for session 2023-24. So far, students have secured a total of 1050 job offers during Phase I of IIT Delhi Placements, including PPOs. A total of 1000 students secured placement opportunities with over 50 international offers from about 20 global companies.
As per the placement data, some of the top recruiters who made offers to students included Microsoft, Air India, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Goldman Sachs, and Ola Electric. The Core (Technical) sector was the primary recruiter, with 42% of students placed.
Last year, during the Phase I placements at IIT Delhi, the students received 1,300 job offers, 1,150 of which were from new companies. The institute also received 260 PPOs and 30 international offers from 15 global companies across various job profiles and countries.

Key Sectors at IIT Delhi Placements 2024
This year, the most offers were received by students enrolled in BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, 85 of whom received 102 job offers. The most placements were in the MBA program focusing on Management Systems.
94 students pursuing BTech in Electrical Engineering secured 98 job offers, while 35 students pursuing a Master of Science also received job offers. IIT Delhi reported that 184 job offers were extended to students pursuing MTech across various disciplines and 9 doctoral scholars who received job placements.
Over twenty international organisations offered over 50 international placements, with recruiters from Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
