IIT Delhi Invites Applications from Candidates For Indian and Foreign Language Learning Program; Check Details to Apply

New Delhi: The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, accepts applications for the Indian and Foreign Language Learning Programme (IFLLP). The institute conducts IFLLP courses each semester, and the deadline for submitting the application form is January 31, 2024.

In the second semester of the 2023-24 academic year, the following languages will be offered in the Indian and Foreign Language Learning Programme of IIT Delhi: French (A-1 & A2 Levels), German (A-1 & A2 Levels), Spanish (A-1.1 & A-1.2 Levels), and Japanese (Starter & Elementary Levels). According to the available information, classes for this semester are scheduled to run from February 3 to April 25, 2024.

Each language course in the IIT Delhi Indian and Foreign Language Learning Programme is expected to require approximately 45 hours, including assessment. The schedule for Spanish, Japanese, French, and German classes can be found at the end of the page in the Rule Book. The venue and time slots will be announced on February 1, 2024, with classes commencing on February 3, 2024.

• Eligibility for the IIT Delhi Indian and Foreign Language Learning Programme includes the entire IIT Delhi community, including family members, non-IIT Delhi students, working professionals, and parents.

IIT Delhi Indian and Foreign Language Learning Programme: Registration Fees

The registration fees for the program vary based on the category:

• IIT Delhi students: INR 3,000 + GST@18% = INR 3,540
• IIT Delhi regular employees: INR 7,500 + GST@18% = INR 8,850
• Other candidates (non-IIT Delhi students, their family members, family members of IIT Delhi employees, any other staff of IIT Delhi and their family members, IIT Delhi Alumnus): INR 10,000 + GST@18% = INR 11,800.
