IIT Delhi Begins Second Batch of EV and Charging Infrastructure Certificate Programme; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) has commenced the second batch of certificate program on Fundamentals of EVs and Charging Infrastructure. 

As per the official press release, the certificate program is designed to focus on developing new products, processes, and infrastructure that promote sustainability and protect the environment.

Speaking at the announcement, Santanu Kumar Mishra, Professor, IIT Delhi, said, "IIT Delhi takes great pride in introducing the Certificate Programme on Fundamentals of EVs and Charging Infrastructure, aiming to provide professionals with a transformative learning experience in mastering the intricacies of electric vehicles. This initiative offers learners the opportunity to delve deeply into the complexities of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure."

"At IIT Delhi, we are committed to empowering learners to emerge as pioneers in the realm of electric transportation. Through this programme, we endeavour to foster innovation, propel industry advancement, and chart a course towards a greener, more sustainable future," he added.

What is the Certificate Program in EV and Charging Infrastructure?

The certificate program in EV and Charging Infrastructure by IIT Delhi is a 5 months online course. The course will include 52 hrs of live online sessions and 5hrs of optional lab classes. 

The program has been designed for mid-career professionals and will equip them with the necessary skills to succeed in the growing electric vehicle industry. The admission to the course will be based on the applications submitted and personal interviews conducted by IIT Delhi.

• B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc./M.Sc./M.E./M.Tech./Diploma in Electrical and Electronics
• Basic electrical knowledge is required for this programme.

On successful completion of the course, candidates who score at least 50% marks overall and have a minimum attendance of 50%, will receive a ‘Certificate of Successful Completion’ from CEP, IIT Delhi. Candidates who score less than 50% marks overall and have a minimum attendance of 50%, will receive a ‘Certificate of Participation’ from CEP, IIT Delhi.
