IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi Campus BTech Admission 2024 to be Based on JEE Advanced 2024 Scores

New Delhi: IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi campus will start admission to its newly launched BTech programs based on JEE Advanced 2024 scores. Candidates qualified for their JEE Advanced 2024 can use their ranks to apply for admission through the university's official website. The direct link will be available after the declaration of JEE Advanced 2024 Results on June 09, 2024.

In addition to this, the international campus of IIT Delhi has inaugurated a new entrance examination, the Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET), for students residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The last date to register for CAET 2024 is June 10, 2024.

IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi UG Programs 2024

IIT Delhi launched two UG programs at its Abu Dhabi Campus; BTech in Computer Science and Engineering and BTech in Energy Engineering from academic year 2024-25.

The BTech program in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) covers theoretical foundations, computer architecture, software design, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Meanwhile, the energy engineering program focuses on energy production, consumption, sustainability, renewable energy sources, and sustainable energy systems.

IIT Delhi's undergraduate programs in Abu Dhabi are scheduled to begin in the upcoming academic year, 2024-25, with an initial intake of 30 students each. Admissions will be conducted through two ways: 10 seats via the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced and 20 seats through the Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET).

JEE Advanced 2024 exam qualifiers can use their rank to apply for admission via a different portal accessible on the website. Further details on applying for a seat based on JEE Advanced qualification will be available on the IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi website soon.

The JEE Advanced 2024 results are scheduled for June 9, 2024. The seat allocation matrix at IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi is different from the JoSAA portal, accommodating JEE Advanced and CAET candidates.

IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi Campus CAET Based Admission 2024

Combined Admission Entrance Test 2024 is conducted by the JEE Office, IIT Delhi. The exam is scheduled for June 23, 2024 at different centers in the UAE. The test is conducted for UAE residents, including nationals, expatriates, and international students.

Eligible candidates can register for CAET 2024 by June 10, 2024 on the official website at admissions.abudhabi.iitd.ac.in/application/caet-2024.

IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi Campus BTech Program 2024 Fees and Accommodation Facilities

Candidates applying for BTech admission must pay the applicable fees on campus. The monthly fee at the IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi campus is AED 400. There will be separate fees for food, including the free double-bed hostel fees.
