IIT Bombay Hosts 56th Inter-IIT Sports Meet in Collaboration with IIT Gandhinagar; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Indian Institutes of Technology, IIT Bombay is hosting the 56th inter-IIT sports meet. The event started on December 10 and will be ongoing till December 15. This edition is a collaborative effort between IIT Bombay and IIT Gandhinagar.

Former Indian cricketer and coach, Venkatesh Prasad, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The IIT Bombay ceremony kicked off with a spirited march past featuring representatives from all 23 IITs, symbolizing unity, sportsmanship, and a spirited competitive ethos.

Against a vibrant cultural backdrop, the event commenced with a lively mix of traditional and cultural performances, showcasing the rich diversity of India.

In the year 2022, IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee collaborated to host the 55th edition of the inter-IIT sports meet. This annual event, initiated in 1961, stands as the IITs’ inter-collegiate sports extravaganza.
