IIT BHU Witnesses Surge in Corporate Interest: Expects Record Placements in 2023

New Delhi: IIT BHU Placements have seen interest of several domestic and international companies in hiring its students from IIT BHU. In the academic year 2018-19, 172 companies offered job opportunities to almost 837 students. By the year 2022-23, the number of participating companies increased to 326, providing lucrative packages to 1094 students. 

Expecting a continued upward trend, the IIT BHU expects a higher number of placements, more participating companies, and enhanced package offers compared to the previous year.

The commencement of IIT BHU Placement season is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2023. Preparations are underway, with both the institute and students intensifying efforts. Even the practice sessions for interviews have been ongoing for the past three months, with regular tests conducted to enhance readiness for placements.

Historically, IIT BHU has witnessed impressive placement results, with notable instances such as a UAE company offering a package of INR 1.52 crore to three students in 2018. 

In addition, a student secured an annual package of INR 1.06 crore during the same year. Subsequent years, including 2019, 2020, and 2021, saw students receiving offers in the range of INR 1.25 to 1.75 crore. The highest package recorded thus far is INR 2.16 crore, and there are expectations of breaking this record in the upcoming placement season.
