IIT BHU to Hold 12th Convocation for Batch 2023 on October 6

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi (IITBHU) will organize its 12th convocation for graduating students of batch 2023 on October 6, 2023. During the event, Divyansh Chandra Roy (ECE) will receive the President's Gold Medal.

IIT BHU will award over 1641 graduates with their degrees, including students of BTech, MTech, MSc, Ph.D., and other programs. In addition to this, Sh. Raghav Soni (ECE) will be awarded the Director's Gold Medal at IIT BHU 12th Convocation.

Informing about the convocation, IIT BHU tweeted, "The Institute is delighted to announce the 12th Convocation Ceremony for the batch of 2023 on 6th October, where the recipients of the prestigious Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award 2023-24 will be honored and celebrated”.

"3 days from now at the 12th Convocation Ceremony, Sh. Divyansh Chandra Roy (ECE) will be awarded the President's Gold Medal & Sh. Raghav Soni (ECE) will be honored with the Director's Gold Medal. IIT (BHU) heartily congratulates them!," added another tweet by the university.

The degrees will be given to 954 BTech graduands, 247 IDD graduands, 223 MTech/MPharma graduands, 44 MSc graduands and over 173 PhD graduands. A total of 66 students will be medals will be presented to 136 students for their exemplary performance in various disciplines.

In other news, a student of IIT BHU, Mahamana's Bagiya Kashi Hindu University campus has secured a job package of INR 1.68 Crore per annum during the IIT BHU Placement Drive 2023. However, the university has not disclosed the placement details due to security reasons.
