IIMC Launches PG Diploma Programme in Digital Media; Apply till June 18

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has launched a new PG Diploma Programme on Digital Media from this year onwards. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @iimc.nic.in. 

The admission process for the postgraduate diploma programme in Digital Media has already commenced through CUET (NTA) along with four other courses in IIMC Delhi, Aizawl, and Jammu. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till June 18, 2022.

IIMC PGD Digital Media Admission 2022: Dates

The PG diploma course is being launched with an intake of 20 students each in IIMC New Delhi and its regional centres at IIMC Jammu and IIMC Aizawl (Mizoram) simultaneously.

The institute has began the application process for PG Diploma Course in English Journalism, Hindi, Journalism, Radio & TV Journalism, Digital Media and Advertising and Public Relations have been started through CUET PG 2022. 

IIMC PGD Digital Media Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions into the PG Diploma course will have to fulfil the eligibility requirements mentioned below. 

• Candidates must hold a bachelor's Degree awarded by a recognized university. 
• Candidates who have appeared / are appearing for Final year/semester examination of their bachelor’s Degree are also eligible to apply. 
• If selected, their admission will be subject to their producing at least a Provisional marks-sheet/Certificate in original from their college / university latest by September 30, 2022. 

IIMC PGD Digital Media Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidate's selection will be solely based on their performance in the CUET. After the merit list issued by the NTA the IIMC will organize centralized counselling sessions to guide the students so that they may get their preferred programme and Centre. 
• There will be no Interview and Group Discussion for admissions. 
• The final category-wise and course-wise Rank List and admission will be decided on the basis of the candidates overall score out of 100 marks. If two or more candidates secure equal marks, the candidate senior in age will be given preference in the rank list.

IIMC PGD Digital Media Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of IIMC @iimc.nic.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
