IIIT Delhi Collaborates with University of Illinois System to Begin Joint Academics and Research

New Delhi: Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIITD) and the University of Illinois System have signed an MoU to proceed with joint educational and research activities. The collaboration will outline a framework for cooperation between the universities in areas like education, faculty exchange, research, and staff development.

The highlights of the MoU are the establishment of cooperative relations through mutual assistance in education and research, the implementation of research and educational activities, participation in seminars and academic meetings, and limitations and procedures for student exchange.

Researchers, faculty, and students from the institutions gathered for the signing ceremony. The event witnessed the presence of Timothy L Killeen, the President of the University of Illinois System, and other guests from the University of Illinois, USA, at the campus of IIIT Delhi.

The collaboration between IIITD and the University of Illinois System serves as a prime example of the benefits of international cooperation in the fast-paced commercial and academic landscape of today. By supporting the global knowledge network and improving their academic offerings, this partnership highlights the benefits of international cooperation for the advancement of innovation, research, and education on a global scale.

We want to work together to launch collaborative research projects in important fields like artificial intelligence, quantum technology, healthcare, sustainability, and resilient agriculture.

"This MoU provides pathways for a myriad of opportunities for both schools to engage in joint academic programs, share knowledge, and develop academic achievement," stated Professor Ranjan Bose, Director of the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology in Delhi.
