IIIT Bhopal Issues Guidelines for Candidates Allotted BTech Seats

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhopal has released a set of guidelines for applicants who have been allotted seats in the institute through JoSAA/CSAB-2023 counselling. Candidates can check the official notice at iiitbhopal.ac.in.

As per the guidelines released, candidates who are allotted BTech seats must fill out the online admission form, print out their full application and appear in person at the institute's admission centre between August 14 and August 21, 2023, to be considered for admission.

Candidates must note that the application window for IIIT Bhopal BTech Admission 2023 will be activated till August 8, 2023. Candidates must visit the official website of IIIT Bhopal and submit their applications on or before the given deadline.

IIIT Bhopal BTech Admission 2023 Guidelines

To be considered for admission to the BTech program at IIIT Bhopal, candidates are required to carry both the original and one set of self-attested photocopies while reporting at the institute. Check the list of required documents and admission guidelines mentioned below:

  • A printed copy of the duly filled admission form from the IIIT Bhopal website.
  • Letter from reporting centre granting seat acceptance and document verification (Original).
  • Seat Allotment letter (Latest Round).
  • JEE Score card & Admit card (must be original).
  • 10th& 12th Mark sheet /Certificate (must be original).
  • Transfer, Migration & Character certificate (must be original).
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Disable category.
  • Proof of belonging to a category (the original permanent caste certificate), duly attested by an S.D.O. or other competent authority, and stamped with an official seal in accordance with JoSAA-2023 Format.
  • Certificate for Admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs) under the Government of India issued on or after April 1, 2023 (As Per JoSAA-2023 Format) to be produced by OBC candidates.
  • Necessary EWS Certificate for admission issued by the appropriate authorities on or after April 1, 2023 (As per JoSAA-2023 Format) is advised to be submitted by EWS candidates.
  • An affidavit of INR 100/- Stamp paper/Court stamp from a notary for the period of the gap is necessary if there is a gap between finishing high school and beginning the programme at IIIT Bhopal. 
  • Identity cards for verification, such as an Aadhar card or a driver's licence, are also required.
  • Medical certification is provided at counselling (in the format required by JoSAA-2023).
  • Original family income certificate officially attested and signed by an authority.
