Display of Provisional Vacant Seats and Option Form Submission

The provisional vacant seats for CAP Round III were displayed on August 26, 2024. Candidates had the opportunity to submit and confirm their option forms through their login from August 27, 2024, to August 29, 2024. A second display of provisional vacant seats was published on August 31, 2024, to assist candidates in finalizing their choices.

Acceptance of Allotted Seats and Reporting to Institutes

Candidates who were allotted seats in CAP Round III needed to accept their seats through their login from September 1, 2024, to September 3, 2024, by 3:00 PM. Those allotted a seat for the first time were required to self-verify their seat and pay the acceptance fee online. After accepting the seat, candidates had to report to their allotted institute to confirm their admission by submitting the necessary documents and paying the required fees within the same timeframe.z

Final Admission for Vacant Seats

For any remaining vacant seats after CAP Round III, government, government-aided, and unaided institutes conducted the admission process from September 4, 2024, to September 11, 2024. This process included:

• Publishing vacant seats on the institute's website
• Advertising in newspapers
• Inviting applications from registered candidates
• Preparing and displaying merit lists
• Completing admissions according to government rules

Cut-off Date for Admissions and Data Submission

The final cut-off date for all admissions for the academic year 2024-25 is October 23, 2024. All institutes are required to upload the details of admitted candidates by this same date, ensuring the admissions process is completed.
