Mr Kishore Singh is the Secretary of Kunwar Singh College of Pharmacy, Jharkhand. He has a total experience of 10+ years. After completing his LLB he started working as an Advocate at Dhanbad District Court, he became an advocate at the Bar Council of India. He has been an advocate for the last 30 years. He then worked on his father’s dream of establishing a College, and then in the year 2021, they started a B Ed College. He has served as a Secretary of this College since inception. He has done his schooling in Patna and is practicing as an Advocate now also.

The key factors that keep me connected with the education sector are my passion for learning and growth, my belief in the transformative power of education, and my dedication to shaping the future through quality education. I stay motivated and engaged in the education sector by constantly seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement, staying connected with fellow educators and industry experts, and reminding myself of the impact that quality education can have on individuals and society as a whole.


Being the Secretary of Kunwar Singh Pharmacy College of Education, what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

My philosophy of leadership centers on empowering and inspiring others to reach their full potential. I believe in leading by example, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, and always striving for continuous improvement. I would describe my leadership style as transformational, where I focus on building strong relationships, developing a shared vision, and motivating team members to achieve their goals. I believe in providing guidance and support while also encouraging autonomy and creativity.


How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your College?

At Kunwar Singh Pharmacy College we have well-qualified faculties who work together to plan and execute whether it be the marketing part or the administrative part. We have a group of heads and faculties who continuously work on the different aspects of administration whether it be discipline, admission, training & development, placements, and internships. We were earlier working on the conventional approach of marketing using posters, banners, hoarding, and newspaper advertisements, now we are working on some social media platforms also.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the College and the students are?

As a Secretary of the College, I have to show them the way/path on which the entire team of faculties, staff members, and students have to move. I am also responsible for following all the norms as desired by the University and NCTE (New Delhi). I am further responsible for all the administrative activities with the help of the team whether it be admission, internships, academic parts, or placements.


What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?

In the coming 10 Years we are planning to increase the intake in all the available courses that we have at the same time we are planning to start a University as we have the complete infrastructure and manpower support that is required to run a University.


What would you like people to know about your College they may not know?

We have a total of 33 classes on our campus. In addition to this, we have a well-equipped library with more than 4000 books and more than 100 journals, we have a completely furnished laboratory computer lab, 2 science labs & 1 psychology lab, we have CCTV surveillance, and an online class facility.


What do you see as Kunwar Singh Pharmacy College of Education’s greatest strengths?

The team member of our college including faculties and students is the strength of the college.


Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students? 

The only suggestion for aspiring students is that they must try to inculcate the learnings that they get during their tenure and must try to implement those in the practical world. They must try to become a responsible Citizen in the future.
