Mr. Mohit Manocha is the ownder and founder of Himanshu Art Institute. He strongly believes “Humans are the creation of God, the entire world’s beauty is designed by God which was the “Origin of Art”. An art devotee since childhood, he received training under renowned artists, reputable institutes and studios. His never-ending keenness to promote art led him into establishing Himanshu Art Institute. 

Since its establishment, the institute has been opening new horizons in the field of art by assembling workshops, painting competitions, and exhibitions for all age groups to encourage and exhibit hidden and unexplored talent. Over the past, Himanshu Art Institute has groomed raw artistic skill into astral talent. Mr. Manocha also runs an NGO “Nav Shri Art and Culture Organization” to promote art and try to give a platform to set up the career of poor children through exhibitions, and stage shows.

When Was your institute founded and how it started?

The Himanshu Art Institute was founded in 1997. It started off as a hobby first then it became a profession. Today we are training and teaching numerous students in our institute.


How many students were in your institute at that time?

Initially, we had a mere 500 to 800 students every year. Gradually, over the years, as we expanded and developed, our student population grew as well. Today we have around 3,000 to 4,000 students taking admission every year.


What kind of students are taking Admission to your institute?

Our students are from all backgrounds and ages. We do not have any restrictions on who can take admission to our courses. Some of our students are working professionals while others are artists who want to skill up. Most of our students are also school or college-level individuals who take admission to practice art as a hobby.


How Many courses are running in your institute?

We have more than 50 courses related to the fine art and craft. We offer both short-term and long-term courses to suit all student requirements.

What kind of courses are there?

Our courses are divided into specific divisions. These courses are fine arts, art and craft, drawing, sketching and painting. Under each course, we have around 150 curriculum-based and extracurricular activities on offer.


If we talk about professional courses how many are running?

Himanshu Art Institute has more than 50 courses that are of professional quality. We offer a two-year-long advanced diploma course and a one-year-long diploma course. These courses have specializations in Fine Art, Arts & Craft, Applied Arts, Drawing and Painting and Graphic Designing.


Do you have certificate courses also?

Yes, we do offer certificate courses in various concentrations like, Water Colour Painting, Landscape Painting, Pencil Shading, Coloured Pencil, Oil Painting, Acrylic Painting, Still Life & Perspective, Jewellery Making Relief Work and more. These are fast-paced short-term courses to teach the basics of the subject.

Yes, we provide hobby courses in Drawing, Painting, Sketching, Art & Craft.

Do you run traditional courses too?

Yes we have various traditional courses that teach traditional Indian arts such as, Tanjore Painting, Madhubani Painting, Kalamkari Painting, Warli Painting, Gond Art and Mandana Art.


Do you counsel students?

Yes, we do counsel students. Through our counselling services, we help students to choose the correct courses and we guide them on what they have to do to pursue a career in painting or sketching.
