Mr. Sahil Aggarwal is the Co-Founder and CEO at Rishihood University. He has served as the Co-Chairman of the National Education Committee at the Ph.D. Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) and as a member of the National Committee of Design at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He is a trustee and board member at Gateway Education, Sonipat. He has done B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and MA in Diplomacy. He has also been a Visiting Scholar for Urban Governance at Indiana University Bloomington, United States of America. He has co-authored a book on public policy, co-designed a card game on politics, and keeps writing for national dailies.
You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
I believe in the transformative power of education. Witnessing the growth and development of individuals as they guide their educational journey is incredibly rewarding. The ability to shape minds, promote innovation, and contribute to societal progress motivates me. The dynamic nature of the education sector, with its constant evolution and the opportunity to create meaningful change, keeps me deeply connected to this field.
Being the CEO of the University, what is your leadership philosophy?
My leadership philosophy centers on empowerment and collaboration. I believe in promoting an environment where each member of the university community, from students to faculty and staff, feels empowered to contribute their unique skills and perspectives. Collaboration is key to innovation, and by creating a culture of openness, inclusivity, and shared goals, we can collectively propel the institution and its members toward excellence.
The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute/ university/ school?
Our institution offers a distinctive blend of academic rigor, practical application, and a rich cultural experience. Inbound students benefit not only from a globally recognized curriculum but also from an inclusive and manifold learning environment.
