Professor Trilok Kumar Jain is currently the Dean of the International School of Business Management, Suresh Gyan Vihar University Jaipur. He has earlier worked as Principal of Sri Jain PG College Bikaner, as principal of Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College, Nawalgarh, and as Director of A.V. Jain Girls College Sriganganagar (Rajasthan). He has contributed substantially to social entrepreneurship and social development in Western and Central Rajasthan state in India by writing articles in both Hindi and English language and by supporting social entrepreneurs of this region. In his article, he asserts that relative economics is the solution for sustainable development. He is a writer in the I U E-magazine started by Sujit Lalwani. He also worked as Financial Analyst with the Bank of Rajasthan from 1995 to 1996. He served as a member of the Board of Studies in Maharaja Ganga Singh University in its earlier years. He guided many research projects of Doctoral Research Scholars of management subject under Maharaja Ganga Singh University Bikaner.

What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“Providing Students with best quality education”

We are a student-centric institution. We have the following objectives in mind: - 

  1. Transformation of students 
  2. The role of facilitator - Helping the students in their initiatives and enabling them to learn and grow 
  3. Motivating the students for higher goals and supporting them through difficult times 
  4. Clarifying the requirements of the corporate world to the students and enabling the students to achieve their goals. We have tried to help the students in learning and adapting new technologies and helped the students in overcoming their challenges.

How will you ensure that students are able to cope up with offline mode after studying online for more than a year?

“Blended mode of Learning is continued”

We will continue blended modes of learning while ensuring social distancing and proper compliance with Covid guidelines. We know that over-enthusiasm can lead to the escalation of problems. We will ensure that there is proper counseling for the students so that they are able to prepare themselves.

How do you make the Course Curriculum industry-oriented?

We take the help of industry leaders and try to incorporate changes in pedagogy and give exposure to the students so that they are well prepared for the industry. Industry projects and internship opportunities are offered to the students to enable them to prepare for future roles and responsibilities.

We invite great social leaders to inspire and motivate our students and send our students on social development projects so that they can start contributing to the development of society. We have prepared ourselves for the current challenges. Online lectures and online forums enable continuous learning. Live online industry projects prepare our students for the corporate sector. Industry mentors guide and prepare students for the challenges of tomorrow. 

Do you have any extracurricular programs to enhance the skills of the students?

Yes, we immerse our students in social innovation / social development projects. We try to enable our students to participate in social development and enable them to enjoy nation-building. When they participate in social ventures, they develop confidence, happiness, and ecstasy. They are able to have a positive perspective towards life.

Don’t leave any opportunity of working with startups / social entrepreneurs. Enable your innovations to materialize through your startups. Your innovations also have huge potential and therefore you should try to explore their potential.
