Prof. Verma is the Director of First Year at Echelon Institute of Technology in Faridabad. He has very rich academic and administrative experience, both at the national and international levels. Prof. Verma is a fitting amalgam of national and international experience. He earned his master’s (1998) and doctorate degree (2003) in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak. After obtaining his doctoral degree, Prof. Verma worked with various colleges and universities for about 20 years in various positions.

Prof. Verma was working with Texila American University, Zambia, as a Professor of Chemistry and Assistant Dean of Academics before joining the Echelon Institute of Technology. He has handled various academic administrative positions such as Dean Academics, Associate Dean Academics, Controller of Examination, and HOD. He has played an instrumental role in handling programs in the areas of Science, Engineering, pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, and Management, offered through full-time, part-time, online, and blended learning modes at national and international levels.

Prof. Verma’s research interests lie in the area of Organochalcogen Chemistry and he has many research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences to his credit, both at the national and international levels. Additionally, he is a life fellow of the Indian Council of Chemists and a member of the International Selenium Tellurium interest group.

We incorporate experiential learning methods, such as case studies and simulations, into the curriculum.
