AU Small Finance Bank and IIT Jodhpur Collaborate to Establish Center of Excellence; Check Details Here

New Delhi: AU Small Finance Bank (AU SFB) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to propel innovation and foster collaboration across various domains of shared interest.

This collaborative effort will establish startup/incubation centres, digitization of the campus for financial services fintech solutions, and establishment of a Center of Excellence, among other pertinent fields. The partnership aims to establish a dynamic ecosystem for innovation, research, and educational activities, leveraging the strengths of both AU Small Finance Bank and IIT Jodhpur. The scope of collaboration remains adaptable and may be revised with mutual consent to address emerging challenges in the future.

The agreement centres around co-creating, employing design thinking, and innovating for enterprises. It involves engaging in open innovation cohorts with faculty and students, conducting research and development activities, co-advising students on theses and projects, and participating in various mutually educational initiatives.

Founded in 2008 by the Ministry of HRD (Government of India), IIT Jodhpur, a distinguished institution in technology and education, has played a pivotal role in supporting industries and MSMEs over the last 15 years. The institute actively promotes emerging entrepreneurs, startups, and research students, aligning with the Make in India initiative. 

Keeping pace with industry trends, IIT Jodhpur has introduced new undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and research programs in diverse subjects, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Sensors, Management and Technology, Computational Science, Digital Humanities, Fintech, and Cyber Security.
